M a t c h m a k i n g - Driving me nuts.
Frustrates me to no end that I'm forced to use a third party to find a team for activities that I could solo. Haven't even got to experience ToO or any PoE over 28 because I don't want to wade through twats on the internet. Not a matter of "can't." A matter of "I don't -blam!-ing like it." Quit trying to be a special snowflake Bungie. You act like most activities in your game require a dedicated group of communication professionals and lifelong friends just to have a shot. [b]Not true, not even close.[/b]
I'm about to go solo the Nightfall. Why? Because I'd rather spend hours doing that than 5 minutes using LFG. I'd solo the Weekly Heroic too, but 9 coins isn't much motivation.
I'll say this one time: [b]OPTIONAL MATCHMAKING. Yes I said it, "OPTIONAL."[/b] There is not one good reason as to not allow the [b]option[/b] to matchmake a team.

1 Reply(copied from another thread because I'm frustrated and on my soap box today, and this is the only way I can think of to get my voice on this issue heard): I completely agree, and the fact that this thread is even necessary at this point is super upsetting. I l truly love this game, it's the most satisfying shooter I have ever played, but I refuse to pay for any of this DLC until matchmaking is added for all of these game modes. I'm not even remotely interested in making destiny friends, going online to beg for teammates, or commit to a clan. Don't tell me how easy it is to go to some forum and get hooked up with other players. It annoys me enough making plans to meet up with people I care about in the real world, I'm not about to go through this to meet up with internet strangers because Bungie for whatever reason feels like this is the way to go about online multiplayer. I have been playing games for as long as video games have been a thing, and I have never experienced a game that puts up so many barriers for its consumers to enjoy its content. I just want to play the freaking game. Just add matchmaking. If we lose a match or strike or a raid (which I've heard are things, though I wouldn't know, since I've never been able to play one) because we can't communicate as well as a clan or whatever, then so be it.. I could care less about winning or losing in this video game, I just want to play it. Just let us play for gods sake. Why is this still even a discussion? Add matchmaking, and I'll give you my money. End of discussion.
