First off. I'm not announcing this like it was an amazing accomplishment. I know it's not. Just saying that it is alot more fun to play it the way it was designed to be played. Messaged someone on my friends list for a lvl35 PoE fresh run. We made it through the first 5 stages with only 2 wipes in between. Tried to kill him by spamming rockets but we couldn't. Dude from my friends list was a good player but no Gjallarhorn has dropped for him yet. He was running with a 331 Valedictorian with solar and tracking. After a few wipes one other guy dropped out and I got messaged from someone else on my list asking if we needed a 3rd player. Let him in but told him that we only have 1 365 dmg Gjallarhorn and a 331 dmg legendary. 2 warlocks and I was the hunter which means no bubble. A few wipes later the guy with the 331 Valedictorian says that he can leave to make room for a different player with a Gjallarhorn. Both myself and my other friend who joined us said no way. My friend said that Skolas was End Game content, not Gjallarhorn Only content. Well said. We got into a groove, started communicating very well, picked each other up and defeated that Traitor Kell. It was so much more fun and gratifying that way. Kind of like a flawless raider Crota run that we ran the bridge encounter legit. It felt exactly like what I envisioned Bungies goal for Destiny to be. Guardians...let's help each other out against the Darkness and stop worrying about whether or not someone is using a specific weapon. There's more than one way to whoop some Darkness butt!
