[b]New DLC for Destiny scheduled for release on September 15th 2015.[/b] This new content will be priced at a high $40-USD. This DLC will have half as much content as 'Vanilla' Destiny, maybe more. Bungie has yet to release all the details. This DLC features new story missions, 2-4 New Strikes, a new Raid which involves the hive god Oryx, the father of Crota. Along with the PvE side, this DLC will also include New PVP maps, gametypes, and A LOT MORE EXOTICS! Last but not least, (what we've all be waiting for) [b]A THIRD SUBCLASS FOR ALL GUARDIANS![/b] --- The Titan will receive a Fiery Hammer, --- Hunters would wield a gravity bow --- Warlocks have acquired the electrical storm. (How these might function for the classes is NOT-CONFIRMED as of yet.) [spoiler]Old myths: - Titans super would create a devastating fire wall at a distance. - Hunters bow would Kill who it hits, and create a Wizard area effect - Creates a servitor size storm cloud which electrocutes enemies who tread nearby [/spoiler] [b]There are also theories of a new race called "The Taken" [/b] A new race is very slim considering Bungie has a track record for re-skinning current content. Most sensible theory: The Taken are current races who are reanimated/ possessed by Oryx. Oryx is supposedly able to defy life and death. The Taken (fallen, cabal) are controlled by Oryx and their will has been 'taken'. (Vex are robots and most likely cannot be controlled) [b]The Picture above[/b]: Resembles fallen and cabal side by side. I doubt the fierce planet destroying cabal take sides. They have 'Green Eyes' The color of Crota, Oryx's Son. [b]Finally a new planet is rumored to appear. [/b] People speculate that it will be Mercury because of the lighthouse. However, if you recall on Venus when 'little light' mentioned how Mercury is completely overrun by the Vex. Also in the Lighthouse basement there is a destroyed Vex with Vex structures all over. Now let's go back to the story mission on the moon, "The Shine of Oryx". The shrine in the boss room resembles what I believe is Jupiter. 'Little Light' during that mission also said, "I think they are using it to communicate with their god." Jupiter, or Jupiter's moon is where Oryx theoretically resides. Here are Jupiter's two grimiore cards which describes it in detail: [spoiler][u]Card 1:[b]JUPITER[/b][/u] "Lord of worlds, massive Jupiter and its moons must have been a cornerstone of Golden Age civilization. The City's ships have rarely attempted any journey to Jupiter or beyond." You build homes around this half-born sun ripped by storms and supersonic wind."[/spoiler] [b]I believe Jupiter will be included in this new DLC if Oryx is.[/b] If so, we will gain access to one or a few of Jupiter's many different Ice encrusted moons. * Xbox/Microsoft players will receive the Playstation/Sony exclusive content from the game's release in September.
