Should I hide my lighthouse emblems?
People calling me a jerk, bully, trying to intimidate, or people judging me thinking I'm an elitist or prick, etc. Should I use low level emblems to avoid these stereotypes??
Edit: I use them because for me, getting flawless cards were big accomplishments

Use the ones that look cool. For me, I like the new monarchy one and the other one on my warlock. They look cool, so I use them

2 RepliesThe only people on my friends list who still use them are the noobs who got carried and the red bars who think they are legit skilled. That tends to be the case of everyone else too. Particularly the ones in normal crucible.

2 RepliesI never wear mine, the emblem itself isn't that nice and more and more people are getting it, and also when playing trials i think the first thing people look for off the bat on the other team is the emblem to try and judge if you're good and how you're going to play, so it never comes out for me

I've recently took them off my players and only wear it to prove to LFG players I'm legit. It's really makes people judge you, thinking you're a try-hard. And in my opinion, it [i]does[/i] make you look like a try-hard. And I find it very embarrassing when three people with exotic emblem's lose. For me, it makes me think they don't deserve it. I'd rather put on one of the more colorful shaders (I don't like the color yellow).

1 ReplyI don't use mine while playing trials, I use my fav instead, Def rep it in PoE and stuff though. I also avoid wearing it in the tower/reef cuz random invites

Now I understand this isn't fair to peeps that earned it but thems the breaks kid you're in the company of lagswitchers and brazilians as well as legit players. Should this effect your choice to wear it? That depends on if you care about the opinion of assholes like me I guess.

Ignore them. I have mine but I prefer my FWC emblem. Wear it with pride and if others are jealous let them scream at their screen.

I have had hate mail twice now, don't worry about it. I replied and the told them I was playing bad because it was 10pm and I not long took my anti psychotics and anti depressants lol and I was only playing shitty Skirmish for the bounty.
