I got thorn without primary weapon burn...
I got thorn bounty twice without a primary weapon burn. Sign if you are in this club. Cheers.
EDIT: This post came about because in another post I was suggesting that if exotics had a burn, Thorn should be void. Someone hinted that this was a bit silly as it would mean that you would need Thorn to get Thorn (clearly that is not the case). However, it made me wonder how many people got Thorn the hard(er) way before raids etc. These days the primary burn makes it a lot easier. Congratulations, no primary burn guardians. Love it!
EDIT: First time I used void rare sniper and Truth. Second time used void shotgun (can't remember which one) and Truth and defender titan .. come into my bubble ... please!

I did it with a green Gravity ESM and void walker abilities. WHAT.

1 ReplySigned. All my primaries are kinetic damage, no burns of any sort. :( Void Judgment VI and void Against All Odds + defender Titan did the trick, soon to be twice now.

1 ReplyThat's how I got mine. Took me forever. But I'm not very good. I do main a defender, but nearly all of my kills came from a void felwinters, and a void hmg (green) that had focused fire. I still don't have a void primary. I'll also never do that bounty again. I hate using a secondary as a primary, even before the ammo change.

Edited by BAMFdad: 6/15/2015 6:02:49 PMI only did it once, b/c screw that, and I used the Comedian( Legendary shotgun) with void. I wish I saved that and my Cryptic Dragon(1st Legendary) but I ran out of vault space and of course I didn't know etheric light would be a thing.

First time I got it I used melee and grenades only as a defender.

Haha I used Preadyth and Atheon's Epilogue back in the day when auto-rifles weren't AS bad. Atheon's Epilogue was still pretty bad.

Im tempted to get a second one using a void messenger adept. Should be easier this time around. My first one was on a hunter with a blue fusion rifle as well. Daamerung i think. Back in vanilla
