Why is the Destiny community so obsessed with the word "pop"?
Seriously, every time I'm in a game...
"Hey man pop a shield"
"Yo, pop a bubble"
"Hold on I got to pop a synthesis"
"Hey pop your self ressurect"
Edit: Everyone is trying to make a point by making extremely long sentences without the word "pop". You guys are just adding stuff. You could simply say "Use a synth" or "Use your bubble". Plus, I'm fine with people saying "Pop", it was a question, not a complaint. And I love all these replies that manage to slip "pop" in there XD

Pop is quicker then saying something like deploy or use. Like the word is said quick compared to a word like use which has the same amount of letters but just sounds longer

People usually know where i am in the map and come get the buff. Also, in literal term, the one who SHOULD say "im popping a bubble" are the ones attacking the bubble they are quite literally "popping a bubble". But destiny players probably get it from the term "popping pills". Destiny play confirmed drug addicts?

Yeah it is funny it's so common. Funny thing is for me, I say "blow my bubble" as that means I'm making it and pop means to break. But then it might just be me.

Who says any of those? Only one I've heard is "Pop a Synth" and I've been playing since Beta.
