It's believed that this glitch requires that you land swarm grenades on an enemy. That's not true. You don't actually HAVE to hit an enemy to trigger the glitch. Swarm Grenades, when clustered too close, explode on each other. Now the game treats each grenade in the cluster as a separate enemy death. That's why Ashes to Asset triggers so often. That's about 10-15 deaths in two seconds! The reason why it's widely recommended that you hit all your grenades on someone is because swarm grenades tend to home in on the same spot, exploding on each other anyways. Keep in mind that stacking Ashes to Asset also increases the amount you gain from each grenade's "death."
As a side note, I would advise you to avoid using this in any Crucible event as it impacts other players; not just yourself. My guess is that they might start handing out bans to players abusing this glitch in PvP. I don't know how Bungie will handle it for PvE players but I assume it won't be anything as serious as the glitch is less impacting in PvE. My goal with this post is to bring this glitch up to Bungie's attention, but, in the mean time, have fun shitting orbs for your STRIKE TEAMS.

15 RepliesAs if Hunters aren't cheap enough with their Arc Blade of Foreverness, their blink shotty, and their blink to escape out of danger, you now have to go and show them yet another way to be cheap. Well done indeed! I sure you'll be happy tonight when your team gets demolished in the first round of a match by some 14 yr old who sat in the back of a map throwing two grenades into a corner. I hope Bungie fixes this exploit quickly.

when will this be fixed?

2 RepliesIt's hilarious how Bungie knows about this and does nothing. There is no way they haven't seen the posts here, on reddit, on YouTube. And yet they do nothing about this. The only people saying this isn't a exploit, are the same people doing this exploit. Where is Bungie? Oh yea, doing important things like taking burns off Skolas, and patching treasure chests from being looted more than once. Nice. Lol

4 RepliesTbh there was loads of worry and stress on the forums recently because everyone thought this exploit was going to be abused in trials. But so far I haven't encountered a single person using it.

9 RepliesPeople might try in ToO. At the start of the match, when enemies are far and you have way enough time to recover. Find a safe corner and Boom! super at spawn.
