How And Why The Golden Gun Glitch Works (Plus Video)

It's believed that this glitch requires that you land swarm grenades on an enemy. That's not true. You don't actually HAVE to hit an enemy to trigger the glitch. Swarm Grenades, when clustered too close, explode on each other. Now the game treats each grenade in the cluster as a separate enemy death. That's why Ashes to Asset triggers so often. That's about 10-15 deaths in two seconds! The reason why it's widely recommended that you hit all your grenades on someone is because swarm grenades tend to home in on the same spot, exploding on each other anyways. Keep in mind that stacking Ashes to Asset also increases the amount you gain from each grenade's "death." As a side note, I would advise you to avoid using this in any Crucible event as it impacts other players; not just yourself. My guess is that they might start handing out bans to players abusing this glitch in PvP. I don't know how Bungie will handle it for PvE players but I assume it won't be anything as serious as the glitch is less impacting in PvE. My goal with this post is to bring this glitch up to Bungie's attention, but, in the mean time, have fun shitting orbs for your STRIKE TEAMS.
