PLEASE stop people from doing just the Skolas fight - make them do the whole thing.
I'm so sick of people spamming "LF Skolas CP" all damn day. Implement a ticket like for Trials, where they have to check off the first 5 rounds before they can join a group at round 6. That way those that have earned their way there, can go back to finish the fight with others who have earned it (cause they have the cp), rather than a bunch of "give it to me now" kids, burning the forums and LFG sites down, trying to get a short cut to the boss.
Edit: Since so many people ask the same question, I'll put the answer here.
It affects me because at the time of this post I was on lfg trying to put together a group for a fresh run (cause I'm not a pussy and I can actually fight my way to Skolas) but the channel was being overrun by a-holes spamming for the Skolas cp. I even asked a few if they wanted to start fresh but they refused. So I had plenty of time to put up this post while looking for people to run with.
Edit: I'm amazed at all the butthurt little kiddies blowing their top over this post. Are you really too crap to make it through 5 rounds? Learn to play. It only takes 20 mins ffs.

Skolas = Not worth the time for the horrible rewards. Done it enough to not care anymore.

1 ReplyThe thing about those kids is that they're helpful for when you're at the boss but your friends have to go. Just bring a couple of kids in and if they turn out to be terrible, just boot them and get a couple more. It's not rude, since they deserve it. None of them want a fresh run, so I guess they're just expecting some random guy to solo up to Skolas just to invite their royal selves.

1 ReplyIt takes about an hour for a regular, non perfect team. I've both joined at skolas, and did it from beginning. Normally I like starting fresh because most people that have an open slot at skolas suck, they had someone leave because they got frustrated.

2 RepliesIt's no different than ppl who ask for checkpoints in atheons and Crota so might as well do it for everything. The only problem is most who want skolas do it for the bounty that's it and don't like wasting time with a bad team. If they get skolas die a few times they can leave. IMO it doesn't bother me since I rarely do Poe anymore but I can see where it gets frustrating Ps the fallen with overkill captains are more of a pain than skolas himself lol

Just made it to skolas and got to the 2nd mine before I had to leave. Wish there was a checkpoint because I won't do it again this week unless I start at skolas. So I will be spamming for the cp. Thanks though.

who cares? everyone wants a quick run and only rewards, other then XP for Cipher, are from Skolas fight but my fault someone can't complete it, and I'll gladly start fresh, but if I can just jump into the boss CP, why not? refusing to play from start is a bitch move though, PoE is not that hard

1 ReplyThe reason why is Skolas is a waste of time IMO. If you have enough etheric light and all the ciphers (our clan has) all thats left the the very very very low chance of a decent primary with burn. So I would be happy to just do Skolas multiple times from a CP just for that (I haven't) because 2+ hours for basically nothing isn't worth is.

2 Repliesi get ya but..there is no check point. whoever is there fought to that point has an opening.y waste an opening? let someone in. if you leave there is no checkpoint ,you cant go back,you start over from the beginning .i had a buddy where 2 dropped out.not coming back and she been grinding for hrs to get to scolas. she was tired ,going to bed. my team of 3 were on our way playing 35. at round 3 if i remember right . she messaged us the story,going to bed.would we like to take her spot. why waste it she said ,let us have her last round. that was so sweet of her to offer out of the blue . maybe on that site they got people looking for a cheep way in,ok lazy yeah but it isnt always that way,so implementing something to stop it will hurt those just being nice there is [u]ALWAYS[/u] someone to muddle things up everywhere you go,in everything . just ,goosefraba,not always personal. :)

1 ReplyI agree with you completely!! If some kid wants to just jump in my fireteam and grab a free meal ticket to the 35's rarest loot then he get the -blam!- out of dodge!! I will ONLY ask people who own and understand what respect is to join my fireteam at the skolas CP, when I say this I mean people I have spent many hours with online, people who have helped me out of the kindness of their heart. I don't need to use the forums or any other source to find a fireteam because I have already found a good group of people I play regularly with, we have a laugh and we get shit done, I work solely on a "if you help me out with this I'll help you out with something if you need it". It honestly pains me to see so many people on these forums who find it impossible to find good people to play with, there has to be good people, surely there can't just be selfish a-hole kids left!!

6 RepliesNo, and here is my reason why. If I fought my way all to the end and one of my team quits I should suffer because I can't bring someone in? That's bullshit. I have had that more than once and it's a breath of relief to pull someone in so all the time I spent doesn't go to waste. I'm a full time student with a job and family, my free time isn't abundant to waste because some asshole quit on me.

Pro's - if you're teammates dropped out or ditched you you can get some help to finish the fight instead of having to quit and do it all over. Con's - must have maxed gally
