A quick Google does back you up...now I'm unsure too...a good friend of mine is French too, I should probably pay more attention when she speaks.

doesnt back me up... someone else said that. I don't know crap about the way french people speak. for all I know french people could call a lion a leeon. lol I just googled "how french people pronounce lion" and got a youtube clip of someone saying leeon.
