Rare armor ascension, why not?
It's refreshing that the HoW expansion gives us a system to build multiple armor load outs that will get you to max level so not everyone has to wear the same armor. However, why was rare armor not included as ascendable gear? There are tons of rare armor pieces with respectable perks that look absolutely awesome, but no one uses them because they hold back your level. Why not open them up to be ascended with Etheric Light and have that many more possible armor combinations to make yourself stand out from the rest?

only exotics should have been upgradeable. instead of upping legendaries they should have just put in a cosmetic gear tab. i would love to sport some of the blue sets, a lot of them are better looking than anything else in the game. the perks on them suck though.

Etherial everything allow it to be reformed to like have xur and Speaker have a item used to upgrade your armor quality to next rarity which gives it a extra perk at rare and another at legendary. Some the old armor look awesome so why not.

Make it so each rarity requires an extra Etheric light to hit the next rarity. So a blue would require 1 Etheric light to hit legendary. Then another to be fully ascended.

I think blue gear should get you to level 30 and green gear should get you to 27. That seems fair, right?

I'm all for this. The Vanir set looks great, and so does the Manifold. Let's be able to ascend them to legendary.

When the ps4 armor comes to xb1, I was planning on getting sets of Argus, Vanir and Manifold Seeker anyway. Figured I'd use them for when I was doing low level stuff like patrols or bounties. Would definitely like to be able to ascend those.
