According to the weekly update Skolas will no longer have burn modifiers and will have lower health starting with the next hotfix. Thoughts?

1 ReplyEdited by Oxy: 6/12/2015 3:52:40 AMSkolas is the guy who decodes engrams at the Tower you idiot. Why would you want to burn him?
-
Personally I think its going to make it much harder, I hate it when there's no burn on, just hope the enemies produce enough ammo drops
-
Wait till its Trickle next week to see how people like it. No bubble shenanigans for you.
-
Actually its gonna be so easy i mean the enemies cant use burn on you but you can still use the gjorn and give huge amount of damage...and reduced boss health
-
At least people can stop bitching about needing ghorn for solar burn, just gonna wait for people to start bitching that he's too hard without the burn, this community is never happy.

2 Repliesit will actually force ppl to play the boss mechanics, instead of just killing skolas in 15 seconds. it makes sense. its supposed to be a challenge
-
I chose indifferent But am aggrivated bout gettin rolling and leveling different burn weapons for no reason.
-
All I know is everyone is going to have a field day when specialist comes up.

I'm glad that arc is gone but I'll miss solar and void...
-
2 RepliesLmao I voted what's a burn just cause
-
4 RepliesI think it will allow those without the great weapons to get in there and give it a shot while it also causes a problem do to not killing him fast enough

1 ReplyWithout a burn, Gjally will now be the preferred weapon every week. Making it harder for those without a gjally to get groups, defeating the pirpose of why they said they are nerfing it in the update. At least with a burn they could just wait until void or arc week to do skolas. I had no problem with the encounter. But as i have beat it before on each burn, I will beat it again and continue to do so until i am over it.

1 Replyanyone who doesnt like it is a scrub who would rather burn the boss and ignore the mechanics of the fight
-
He will always have gally burn
-
It doesnt really make a difference to me i've done it with the mechanics even with solar burn so with or without a burn he is dying 3 times each week
-
Got 3 elder bounties this week and I dislike the perks for the PoE weapons. I doubt I will ever run skolas again, so I don't really care
-
It'll be fun to actually play it out with all the mechanics that were meant to be used but I also like burning him quick lol
-
3 RepliesAs someone who could not beat 35, I do not agree with this. Unless his health is dropped like Valus, it makes the battle more difficult. Now it's possible to get some of the worst modifiers PoE has to offer. I'd rather wait for my Gally than wait and hour for a super with Trickle.

I like to imagine Skolas as a magical elf that never had any modifiers in the first place.. and visited children leaving armored cores under the DLC tree for them to find on DLC morning.
-
Should have released with no burn and incredible drops. Separate gun-crutch players and real players. Looking forward to no burn.
-
I glad I was playing earlier today and I got 1 shot from a captain with his shot gun. It wasn't really fun. And that's the point.
-
3 RepliesThat means new modifiers like grounded could apply. Gods help us
-
With all the plebs crying about how hard it is now... its bad

I am not a fan personally. I thought the encounter was a good difficulty level before and encouraged you to use different guns with the burn changing each week.
