Seriously unless the health reduction is pretty substantial this boss is just going to drag on now. I can't wait for them to give us small arms which nerfs special and heavy weapons. Sure Skolas was tuff, but he wasn't that hard. I don't agree with these changes at all.

We didn't have too much trouble. Ive beaten him every week so far. But there were/are people who have spent 4-5-6 hours on him and thats no fun. I joined a guy off LFG and when we wiped after doing a super run. He had 700+ kills. Dude was there all day not wanting to give in. So if you got by just fine until now it will only get easier for you.

1 ReplyThey did reduce his health. Be honest, 3 Gjallarhorns/Patience and Time/Praedyth's probably wasn't Bungie's intended plan for the fight.

So Bungie wants to end burning him with Gjallarhorns, so they reduce his health and take away burns? Now everyone who doesnt have a Gjallarhorn(including me) will never be able to do this boss until we get one. Good going Bungie, all you had to do was remove solar burn, but removing all burns makes this only feasable (in the eyes of this retarded community) through that one damn rocket. If they are gonna remove all the burns at least keep his health where it is so he cant be burned with Gjallarhorns. I personally was fine with skipping a week of solar burn because i could at least do the other two burns when they came. Now i cant do any because its going to be -blam!-ing impossible to find a group that doesnt just burn that mother-blam!-ing boss. So Xur needs to sell the rocket or something needs to be done, because it is completely unfair to leave out 1/3 of the community from a boss because they didnt get a rocket from the dumbass RNG system, a system that you, Bungie, decided to use to take the easy way out with loot gains.
