I've been experimenting, and I've found these really cool tricks that stop* thorn burn. 1: [b]Shoot a rocket at the ground[/b] Some people think that launchers are just offensive weapons, but aiming straight down at the ground and firing your launcher will act like a healing spell and stop thorn DOT. 2: [b]Throw a grenade straight down[/b] Grenades can work a lot like rockets for clearing Thorn's burn effect. Certain grenades may not work, but each class has a best option. Warlocks should use scatter grenades, hunters make sure to equip incendiaries, and titans you can get the best healing effect with lightning or flashbang grenades. 3: [b]Water[/b] If you aim at your foot in water and shoot a weapon with elemental damage it will burn away the thorn poison. You have to do it in water to help distribute the damage evenly. Though there are primary weapons that do elemental damage, this works best with special weapons. 4: [b]"turn back"[/b] Thorn's poison is cowardly. If you wait in a "turn back" zone for more than 5 seconds, it gets scared and runs away from your guardian and out of the zone. 5: [b]Cheat code[/b] I don't really know how this one works, but it seems like a kind of konami code type thing. If you press select and hold Y/∆, it makes your screen turn black for a moment and then the burn effect goes away. I hope these tips helped you, guardians. Now go out there and conquer thorn users!
