Just had an idea, massive challenge that may or may not cause intense anger if played
It's VoG, nightmare difficulty.
Normal game right? Nope, take the disabled respawn of hard, now pair it with nightfall, angry, light switch, and solar burn modifiers. Good luck surviving it, massive coordination would be required to complete it, but if you do....
How to claim rewards
-full attempt must be recorded on video and posted in a thread for a bungie employee to review as a measure against cheesing. You will then receive the following rewards.
Rewards
-all armour sets are a precursor variant of normal VoG gear, it possesses a star roll of 100 for strength, discipline, and intelligence. Perks are generated with use to fit play style. Can be used as material on other armour to apply these traits. Full set is obtained
-choice exotic weapon or armour
Bump, sign, whatever you want. This will be the biggest challenge since a team of lvl 30s fighting skolas
Luke3107's contribution

Can we not have it reward everything on first completion? There'd be no point in doing it again otherwise.
I also propose a few changes.
Each Raid gets a 'Nightmare' Mode, including new ones.
Level requirement set equal to or one above the current level cap.
Max 3 negative (they work against the guardians, e.g. Lightswitch) or neutral (can work for or against the guardians depending on circumstances e.g. Elemental Burns) modifiers per run.
Max 1 positive (works for the guardians e.g. Brawler) or neutral modifier per run.
Guaranteed rewards for a first run (can be all, one or a selection of):
-Exclusive Shader
-Exclusive Class Item
-Exclusive Ship
Other possible drops throughout the run include:
-Max level raid items appropriate to that Raid (still need levelled and upgraded, but are already ascended)
-Etheric Light
-Exotic Drops for each section (also pre-ascended but unlevelled)
A hidden, permanent modifier will be active on each Raid that grants two separate buffs:
1. Being fully equipped with that raids armour grants a small defence related bonus. (You can equip an exotic piece but you must have that slots raid armour in your inventory)
2. Same as 1, but a small attack bonus for full weapon load-out. (As it is only 3 slots, the exotic rule does not apply)
Normal weekly activity rules apply (modifiers rotate, one completion per character per player, etc.)

3 Replieswhat about a patrol nightmare mode - (no sparrows, hundreds of thralls, having to get to different areas of the planet to complete tasks, get rewards, always dark so you'll have to use your little light, and modifiers)
-
No solar burn for Guardians. It would be wayyyyyy too easy to kill Templar and Atheon and almost everything else with vision, black hammer and Ghorn
-
Make doing vog like a nightfall
-
The real VoG nightmare mode. Make a team of 34s off the forum who have no idea how to run VoG and run it on hard. Oh wait I already did that today -.-

Neat.

Bump this would be awesome
-
Nightmare mode: while your fighting atheon crota comes and fights along side atheon, but there is no sword barer that spawns until u kill atheon. Endless thralls spawn while u kill oracles. Every mod in the game is turned on. Gg m8

Lightswitch and Solar Burn? Mission Impossible: Atheon's Revenge
-
Just nightfall VoG with 42 light armor and 365 weapons would be better
-
This would be amazing!!!!
-
I dig it.
-
VoG with Void would be harder than solar burn... make all hobgoblins majors and that would be a real nightmare
-
I think rewards should be VoG weapons at 365 with...... Wait for it.......different elemental damage. You can get fatebringer Solar, VoC void, corrective measure solar, etc.
-
Self bump

1 ReplySolar burn?? Void would be much harder

2 RepliesWould be cool to have a nightfall like raid. Although the whole submitting video of proof is unnecessary. VoG with solar burn would actually make it easier I think. Anyways good ideas.
