You all know it needs to happen, my main account (PhantomMirage115) is from day 1 and I really miss my Devil you Know so Bungie, why don't you bring the old stuff back once every week, you know like one weapon and armour piece per week for 150 marks?
-
Can this still be a thing?

4 RepliesStill using my Lord High Fixer, now ascended. Definitely wish I could get some of my other old gear back.

Vendors should rotate gear every week. All dlcs randomly. People who have only vanilla Destiny dont get rotates.

this and more vault space, warlock and titan armors look like crap...

Edited by LeFangedBeaver: 7/9/2015 12:12:23 AMOr the weekly reset brings a new era of weapons and armor from the vendors. Like for week one, it sells vanilla, then DB, then HoW over 3 weeks. This could include all vendors even factions.

Yes bring back our old gear!

2 RepliesI agree. Destiny is basically an MMO regardless of what people say. That said it's the only online game I have ever seen where when a new expansion comes out all the old equipment basically becomes unattainable in any fashion. If they are going to add new content they need to add new content, not overwrite the old. It's obvious with this expansion that they wanted players to be able to make their characters unique with the new ascending system. But why not let us have access to all the old armor and weapons? They could easily make the venders change out their inventory daily. Then they could sell all the gear they used to and the new.

Still got my Lord High Fixer and my buddy still has his Devil You Know. Don't bring them back! They're currently signs of OG status lolol xD

Signed! I want my Grim Citizen back!

Shadow price Devil you know Best ever....

Edited by FearAgent89: 6/13/2015 9:22:25 PMId love for old armor to pop up. Like the old vanguard armor with the blades all over it. I miss it

1 ReplyEdited by Angelina Sov: 6/13/2015 9:17:41 PMA lot of the old weapons are great, but honestly I just want another chance to purchase the AOS #Cryptid cloak When it was available, I wasn't the required Crucible rank because I played an extremely low amount of Crucible back then
-
Having the option for both would be ideal.
-
2 RepliesThey should also allow "upgrade cores" which can be used on common through rare weapons/armor. They could be attained from dismantling maxed Legendaries. For weapons: Common -> Uncommon (+atk, +optic/ballistic, +element if not a primary) -> Rare 1 (+atk, +optic/ballistic, +stat mod tree) -> Rare 2 (+atk) -> Legendary (+atk, +perk) Armor could upgrade similarly, going from Common -> Uncommon -> Rare -> Legendary, perks unlocking along the way based on what type of gear it is. I guess I just really miss Polite Denial 0/1 and Evergreen II.i, along with all those rare armor pieces that have great stat rolls.

I want the Warlock armor badly. My favorite looking chest is only available from engrams. :'( I was too low a level to buy anything before TDB came out. I was fortunate enough to get 2 bonds and the Crucible Titan legs from engrams.
-
Can't remember if I signed this or not but you have my vote. The Dark Below Titan Vanguard armour looks much better than the HOW stuff. The weapons from the vanilla game are also vastly superior to the stuff from both expansions.
-
I would like old weapons and armour to at least be added to loot lists...

18 RepliesEdited by Seraphim Frost: 6/11/2015 8:10:22 PMNah because one day, once bungie makes the last destiny expansion, There WILL be that one guy walking around with a shadow price and a dustwalker helm. Everybody will be like: "Where the -blam!- did you get that!" And those from day one will be like: *wipes tear* "There goes a legend...!

Nice. Like it.

Edited by fballguy: 6/13/2015 9:05:54 PMSigned I think it there could be just a small number of random legendary items in xur's inventory each week. It can all be vanilla or TDB gear that way it doesn't provide an instant advantage too easily, and people can rank it up with etheric light. Many people (myself included) need materials for upgrading, and thought their badass old gear had become permanently useless so we dismantles it for said materials.
