Do you want checkpoints or saving progress in PoE?
This is an easy fix to the problem of not having the checkpoints in PoE because people would probably abuse them with giving away free checkpoints for free loot.
We could have a "save progress" card, where you could have your progression saved on each ROUND.
What do you think guys?

Only if done correctly. No keeping checkpoints over resets and no passing them onto others

I like the card idea. Trials of Osiris already uses a similar mechanic so why not? Seems like this would be a good solution. You can only join back up with players who have that on their card.

Yes, but either there needs to be rewards for individual rounds or the difficulty needs to be increased.

We need this... Earlier this week we killed Skolas but failed to dismantle the mines in time. After that we were just frustrated and didn't get the job done. We had to back out because it was getting late and we had to work the next day.

Not a bad Idea as long as you can only match up with others with the same check point saved. That would be good with a lot of people using LFG for playing. Just no freebies like everything else.

4 RepliesI was fighting Skolas when a friend disconnected, I invited him back but it forced me and my the other guy I was doing it with to join him instead. If I had a checkpoint I wouldn't lose my free time to glitches like this.

Save spots for sure. The other day we didn't realize how late it was and it turned out to be 2 am so everyone had to get off. The difficulty isn't the issue what sucks the time away is waiting for ammo cool downs. We ended up beating skolas twice yesterday because we got it in earlier and everyone wasn't tired.

15 RepliesI mentioned it in a different thread before. A scorecard similar to ToO would be nice. For every round finished you get a point on a scorecard. You can only join with people who have the same amounts of points on a scorecard, so checkpoints can't be passed around.

It shold only be for the original fireteam, and last for 24 hours. Then it would be ok.. But I don't really need them. Voted no.

It sucks being stuck and it being late at night to where someone has to leave or something then we have to start all over or connection times out.

Just make everyone in the FT have to have one (this new 'card') and then only people who have the EXACT same CP can link up. If I have round 5 and you have round 4, then we cannot join together. Yes even me (round 5) to you (round 4) cannot happen. Needs to be the same. I voted 'No' but if this was the system I could support it.

Give the ability to get checkpoints every round, and let us join in an In-Progress Round Five.
