How about a servitor burn. Or a captain burn. You know the enemies that actually need one. It's like the equivalent of a thrall burn or acolyte. Just useless. I just don't understand bungies thought process when it comes to pve. Dont mean to complain but just wtf.

I've seen the sniper with shank burn
-
7 RepliesYou all laugh, but when the Taken King turns out to be a giant shank shooting dregs at you, you'll wished you'd bought in. I have 3 of each! * *i don't really, because it's a dumb burn.
-
U will be sry wen Randal come m8
-
4 RepliesMy sniper does bonus damage to vandals, I'm pretty happy with it.
-
5 Replies*polishes Osiris weapons*
-
You know there is a fallen burn right? Stop whining
-
2 RepliesLongevity, ladies and gentlemen. Why do you think all the armour had max strength these 4 week? They'll switch around the boosts so that you'll replace the armour you have for the same one with different stats. And they'll do exactly the same with the weapons.

It is odd to have shank damage buffs on weapons from an end game mode.....

I thought the same thing. You just know they were sitting around a conference tables discussing ideas with a few doobies (I mean cmon its Cali) and someone mentioned it and they thought it was the funniest troll ever so they got on their computers and coded it in the game high as -blam!-. No one at Bungie remembers doing it and they don't even know it's in the game.
-
29 RepliesCheck your word choice before posting... Makes you look really stupid. There's a difference between "your" and "you're", you know.
-
Anyone with a brain can see how -blam!-ing stupid these perks are. It blows my mind that someone thought of this and it was approved to be in the game...like what the -blam!- were they thinking? And no this is not whining, this is constructive criticism from consumers who want to see the game capitalize on it's potential.

2 RepliesOnly one worth anything so far has been vandal burn
-
2 RepliesThe BURN is on us for still playing this garbage.
-
3 RepliesYou're gonna regret not having a void rocket launcher with shank burn when you're in the omnigul nightfall and those shanks come outta nowhere behind you
lol
-
3 RepliesRight..we need a void mg for a solar shank..lol. Someone had to be high when they thought of this.
-
Edited by Bluefoxx3: 6/11/2015 5:53:52 PMIt would be the perfect perk for Necrochasm.
-
1 ReplyExactly make the bullet sponges burns not the one hit kill enemy burns
-
Its even worse when you get a rocket launcher with Void and has Shank burn. Because Shanks have Void shields right? Dismantled almost every single PoE weapon that has Shank burn or some other useless crap. PoE weapons are so underwhelming its sad as hell. Trials of Osiris weapons are far superior.

2 RepliesEdited by Anedime: 6/11/2015 8:22:43 PMOh look at you with your fancy words and your logical argument, you'll all feel like idiots when the next raid is comprised entirely of tier 2 shanks with void shields inside a planet-sized shank which you have to destroy by going through and killing the large shank at the core, its called Shankeon, it'll teleport you through time into a future where shanks rule the world, there you'll have to kill the shankkeeper to get the shankrick and bring it through the shank portal into the present where shanks make their own destiny buff will give you added damage to hit it with the shankrick for massive damage.

I just don't understand bungies thought process when it comes to pve.
Two things: 1) They have ran out of ideas. Most things in this game are a re-skin, and to try to avoid the perception of that, they added specific enemy burns to make them look unique. Why not add a useful enemy burn you ask? See next point... 2) Because they ran out of creativity and threw PoE together for us, they have to make it seem challenging. But instead of making a challenge that is fun and engaging, like VoG, they simply add more enemies with more health and shields. If they made stuff have captain burns or servitor buns, well, that would just make it too easy, now wouldn't it?

1 ReplyIt just reinforces my belief that Bungie doesn't play the PvE portion of their game.
-
They should send out a survey before they do something. Like if they asked 100 destiny players what they would think about a rocket launcher with dreg burn, literally every single one would prob say something to the effect of "are you kidding?". The ones that don't I would really like to meet them, and ask them how long they worked at bungie.
-
The one I got is better. Mine suppresses captains abilities. Got it from a legendary engram.
-
I got most of my weapons with extra fallen damage or captain supression. Those work wonders.
-
My peepee hurts just from reading this. We need these burns!!! How else would we be able to kill quickly.
-
3 RepliesLevel 32 yellow dregs can be a drag to kill in NF... so a dreg burn might not be the worst perk to have in a gun. Situational, yes. But far from useless.
