I'm not asking which one I should use. Just want to know what your choice is and why! Please no fighting over what is better -_-

Gunslinger

I use both. They are both very useful for pvp and pve just depends on the situation
-
Gunslinger cause I love golden gun, and triple jump has so much more control I'm never worried I'm going to blink of an edge or miss a jump, but I do the the invisibility too
-
For pvp i use gunslinger cuz golden gun and tripmines. For pve i use blade dancer cuz invis

Gunslinger with Khepri's Sting

Delete that crappy hunter and get a Titan and punch everything. But if you must. Blade all the way..
-
Situational. Also depends on your skill set. I'm good with both but prefer my trip mines and throwing knives
-
Bladedancer. But that's personal preference. Blink opens up a lot of convenience for mobility.
-
both.
-
None. Delete that Hunter for the good of the community.
-
Both.
-
Blade for IB, GG for ToO.

It really depends on the activity. I'll run a Int/Str Bladedancer with Crest of Alpha Lupi in the PoE for reviving and dismantling mines. Int for super recharge and Vanish and Str for Escape Artist. I use Int/Disc for the Crucible. I also switch it up in Gunslinger. My CE boots and helmet have large Int rolls and I usually run my CE boots with Celestial Nighthawk for 100% Int and can easily switch between Disc and Str with just my arms and chest.
-
Blade dancer only because if blink, I love it
-
Gunslinger is better in higher level events because you can shoot from a distance. But Bladedancer can be really fun.
-
I prefer Gunslinger because of the triple jump, fiery double throwing knives, and the damage the gun does.

Edited by M0RNINGSIDE: 6/10/2015 6:32:47 PMPvP gunslinger for some easy kills. PvE bladedancer for the invisible capture/reviving medic
-
Situational. PvP I'm the aggressive up close in your face type of player so I prefer the blade dancer class. However that doesn't pay off in PvE so I use gunslinger to keep my distance.
-
Gunslinger with kephris sting homie!!!
-
When I'm doing PoE and my buds need a reliable way to disarm any objective, I go blade dancer for the invisibility. It's very effective for certain dangerous situations, like eye hunting on Quodron, or reviving friends. For everything else, I prefer Gunslinger. It's my favorite of the two, and can generate plenty of orbs, especially with Lupi or AS. When the job doesn't require utility, Gunslinger is the way to go. I also prefer it for crucible, but I know plenty of hunters like blade dancer more.
-
4 RepliesI personally run both equally
-
I used to run gunslinger for pvp but that skill tree of blade dancer is awesome for pvp. So it depends on the situation really. I run both on demand.
-
I'm becoming more a fan of Bladedancer. I never really played it, but played it solely in Iron Banner last week and loved it. The "Oh Shit" 180 run away faces I imagined were amazing and it seemed very effective. I think I'll be playing Bladedancer more in Pve now too since it seems to be better for PoE. It just makes me sad that it seems very hard to generate orbs using Bladedancer.

Why is this an OR question? Max both, use both, both kick ass. Personally I prefer Gunslinger when I'm using The Last Word (Crucible centric), and I use Bladedancer when I use Bad Juju (Strike/PvE focused trash mob clearing specialist, though it's also gnarly in the Crucible). Generally I like the survivability of using Fast Twitch with Hungering Blade, so I lean more Bladedancer (it has saved my ass countless times from Thorn DoT enemies getting a Post Mortem).

Poll or it didn't happen.

Depends on situation.
