What is grimoire score good for?

It indicates how much content you've cleared/played/obtained overall and provides perks, like getting an extra glimmer income boost for killing a type of enemy while using the related glimmer booster consumable. Other than that, they supplement the background story with more information.

Most people will say nothing, but it shows dedication to the game if you will. The moer you have usually means you play the game more, more game time translates to experience, experience translates to skill. This obviously isnt always true in every case.

Saw a 34 with 1300 grimoire, gave him benefit of the doubt... I have never been so wrong, kid was terrible

4 RepliesThey show how much people play and if they are dedicated. Generally shows skill since the more experience, more time to get better. If you see a 34 at 2700 and he isn't only a PvP player, chances are he is a scrub.

really, nothing. More of a measure of the amount of stuff you've done. There are some grimoire points i'll probably never get, because of game-modes i don't really enjoy playing .

I'm being serious when I say that the only difference between average g score players and hight g score players is that the high g score player has spent a lot of time searching for ghosts...which takes zero skill.

I went into VoG with 5 other 34's and low grimoire score guess what kids couldn't run relic couldnt pass the templar and worse of all i had to go in both teleports to get the relic not to mention i Had to go in portals wheb they got releported

Edited by Hazza1607: 6/11/2015 10:53:26 AMGrimoire score is good for laughing at when you have the lowest in the raid/crucible/prison team and you the last guardian standing because the others can't stay alive and before you started they almost kicked you because of having the lowest grimoire score. If any of that made sense.

There is perks if you care. Like set amount of kills with a weapon type make it easier to level that weapon type. Killing a large amount of enemies will give you more glimmer when a money grind item is activated and you kill one. There is the planet one I forget how to get that gives you more resources for getting them. Other then that nothing really like "killing PoE enemies" doesn't give you anything other then the loot for the activity.
