Where can you farm Vex Hydras?

Start Black Garden and make it to the end right before you enter your ghost on the 2 walls. Kill the hydra and wipe. Keep killing and wiping. Aldo use your death counter as a mark of your progress

2 RepliesMars patrol - Go all the way to the gate to the Black Garden. There will be a Hydra and several Minotaurs hangin out. Just hop up on a rock and snipe/rocket them and they'll respawn every 30 seconds or so. Easy! And yes, major (yellow bar) Hydras don't seem to count towards the Grimoire. Same with Ogres.. Need to find "red bar" ones.

1 ReplyI've been using Patrol Mars - The Black Garden gate (place has "king" or some kind of nobility term in the name). It spawns every 30 seconds along with like 6 Minotaurs.

Entrance portal to Black Garden on Mars. Kill him, wipe, rinse/repeat.

2 RepliesEdited by Jonesy: 6/10/2015 5:27:22 PMThe Black Garden mission. Go all the way near the end, there will be a Hydra you can snipe w/ Icebreaker to kill. Once you kill it, just kill yourself with a grenade and you will reset back to the last Checkpoint which is literally right before you killed Hydra. If you repeat this quickly, you'll average ~90 Hydra kills per hour, which is the fastest way to farm them, not that Archon Priest crap. If you need to farm other things, just ask here, I'll answer each one as best I can. Good luck hunting that Grimoire.

Ya they're difficult to max out in grimoire specifically because it seems the major or axis ones don't count and the majority of the time that's what they are
