Dunno what Vex you are using, you would have a hard time hitting the broadside of a barn outside of 20 yards after the last nerf.

I'm sorry I dont own it but I'm always amazed of how fast it kills you. I just checked some videos and indeed its very unlikely that its a 3 shot kill, but its definitely a 2~ second kill.
