So I like the look of ESO, but none of my friends do. Will I still get the best experience playing solo?

You can play most of the game solo. You only need to play as a group at the end. There are normally enough people around in-game to pick up companions on the fly using local chat. Go for it, it's a fun game :-)

I've been questing solo for the most part. Will probably group up with friends over the weekend and when servers are more stable. I'll also group up for the parts I find more challenging but for the most part, it's playable solo.

You'll still have a blast, as I myself am powering through it solo as well. Playing with others is recommended but there's so many people everywhere, all the time, that you're never truly alone. Playing with others will be vital for endgame dungeons, but you won't be missing out on much by playing solo up to that point.

5 RepliesI'm playing strictly solo as of right now and it's still awesome. You don't really feel rushed like when you're in a group so you get to experience the world the way you want to. I like taking my time and gathering resources and just going the speed that I like. You can always make friends eventually and join guilds and whatnot.

1 ReplyThe first levels of the character that I am playing right now have more content than all of destiny and its DLCs so worth playing and leaving destiny for. I have over 1500 hours in destiny and I cannot believe how ripped off I feel after playing Elder Scrolls

Edited by OzzyPowers10: 6/11/2015 12:12:15 AMMy 1st 10hrs have been solo and ive really enjoyed it. Taking my time to learn as much as i can. Solo hasnt hindered me in anyway so far, found a public dungeon earlier which was fun. Id recommend picking it up, just be patient with it and take your time, i get the impression people are doing the opposite and getting frustrated. Edit:spelling (fat fingers)

You won't be solo, even if you don't have friends with it. There's so many different players running around. Think like a runescape type environment

Edited by Epicfailville: 6/10/2015 10:18:17 PMWhat system will you be playing on? Me and my friends are on the Xbox One and you're welcome to join us if you're on that platform. Either way though, it's a great solo experience. Once you complete your factions zones, you can travel to the other factions and play in there zones with everything scaled to 50. It's basically the ultimate ES experience with the option to play with people.

Most of it is solo. You only really need groups for dungeons and raids, everything else is solo friendly.

You're going to have to play with randoms for the raids.

I'm getting eso as soon as I get back from my vacation I'm on an I will be playing solo. I probably make a few friends to play with along the way. The Templar is a great class for solo playing since you can self heal.
