Any tips on how to get weapon parts fast?
I've started to run low due to all the reforging and exotic upgrades so some advice would be much appreciated.

Purchase and dismantle green guns from vanguard as they are relatively cheap and glimmer is no problem now with material exchange also works really well for the class specific armour parts also a good tip is if you don't have a lot to stuff to upgrade equip random blue gear when handing in bounties as you get more parts for dismantling gear with perks upgraded even without purchasing the perks

1 ReplyBuy the crap guns from the gunsmith if you are flowing in glimmer. If not just play patrol you will usually get a lot of green engrams especially if you have a good loot cave.

Run trials then rep early buy the guns for 4 each. The. Just farm the glimmer on exclusion zone for even more greens

1 ReplyDismantle every gun you own. Now weapon parts aren't an issue, cuz you have no guns. Just run dragon strikes for a couple hours.

4 RepliesI actually have found a pretty decent way! If you can get six wins in the trials of osiris you can purchase the weapon for only 500 glimmer with no limit to the amount of times it can be bought! I found this much better than spending 800 glimmer for an uncommon weapon at the gunsmith! It might not be accessible for everybody but if it can help a few people then it's worth the post!

Do the Dark Beyond moon mission. Get to the part where the gate opens. Kill all hive except one. Let it kill you. Rinse and repeat. Don't forget to set it to lvl 30. You'll pick up mass green engrams. Blues etc to break down.

1 ReplyThe fastest way to get weapon parts is to go into your weapons inventory and hold square. Only takes 5sec, can't be topped promise

Run dragon strikes. You'll usually get some engrams just running it, and you're guaranteed multiple engrams at the end.

Run some strikes-- lots of weapon drops!
