So I was bored and waiting on the reset I ran 3 vog runs. I got a red death and suros regime from the exotic chest. Even though we leveled up and bored. I encourage you to rerun the raids you will get stuff you didnt have.
Update: after reset 3 runs ghallahorn, hardlight ascendant energy :)

1 ReplyI actually have a story here. Xur has sold icebreaker countless times right? Like it's retarded how much he's sold it. Well back in those days, I was a naive little titan who didn't really know anything about destiny. I always bought the Titan armor because let's face it, I had no idea what I was doing due to me taking a five month break from destiny. My friends constantly made fun of me for not having one. Then my friend Scotty and I came across this level 4 in the tower a few days ago. The level 4 waved at me and I started dancing with him. Feeling generous I invited him to a party and he was actually a really nice guy. We offered to carry him through the hard mode story since we knew how hard it was alone (he didn't have friends who played) and he happily accepted. We carried this level 4 through the earth and moon, played crucible with him, and had a wonderful time overall. This was on Sunday. The reset yesterday was by far the luckiest destiny day I have ever had. I received the Titan boots from a nightfall, etheric light that I used on my iron banner titan helmet, my first new monarchy shader (Nefertitti), and a huge stack of coins. So here comes the vault of glass. Before this I had never gotten an exotic from the gorgon chest. I have gotten a red death from atheon, the mythoclast, been given red death once more from Ir Yut, and a last word from crota. My exotic luck in raids is very minimal. We get to the chest and I ask if I could grab the checkpoint on my lock and then we could go finish atheon. Shards and energy. We get to atheon and what do you know. Two Gjallarhorns drop. One for the 24 we were carrying and one for my friend who already had one. I swap characters all around and grab the chest on my titan. My 45th light of the great prism and shards. Final chance was my hunter. I prayed to RNGesus for an icebreaker. Needless to say he delivered. TL;DR: RNGesus appreciates kindness to lower levels! Karma is real in this game.

2 RepliesI did the whole of VoG hard no wipes till Atheon. I quit after half an hour of 'you succumb to the oracles' on the first or second oracle, or 'the relic has been dropped'. 2 guys were using SUROS on oracles, they were lvl 33 and 34, but couldn't hold the relic or shoot oracles, and one of them complained when he got Praedyths Tinepiece and he dismantled it. One of them also didnt know what praetorian foil was when he got it.

I will be playing again I need some acsendant shards to lvl up vog gear that I used etheric light on. As for exotics I only need Monte Carlo.

I don't like the way destiny is going, I'm no way an elitest or whatever but it's just common sense! VoG has been out for long enough for all players to be competent in all aspects of it. There should be a requirement of X number of completion before you can progress. I came across from xbox one to ps4 and was slowly acquiring gear etc and was with a bunch of 32's who couldn't run relic at Templar! I managed to do it with my 29 warlock without a single wipe. Got fatebringer that drop so felt rewarded!

I used to love running Vault. But now when you try to find a team you can get a group of 34's with max ghorn. That sounds great until you realize only one of the other 5 has ever run VoG. Then the pain of running cocky people through starts, it's filled with; wiping because of *insert blame on anyone/anything but the person who's actually responsible*, no one knowing how to run relic, people shooting rockets in the relic shield at atheon(if you made it that far), and then the hilarious part of at least 1 guy never being able to make the jumping puzzle. I just can't do VoG and seem to have fun because of stuff like the things above.

5 RepliesIf you havent got Praedthys Revenge, which is the best sniper in the game for pvp imo. Go get it! It drops at oracles and the templar. Maxed out stability and 6 rounds in the mag!
