35 POE is ridiculous..
I have only once beat it the first week. Why? Solar burn and ghorn. Please I'd like to kill him more times I WANT THE ELDERS CYPHER. straight Bullshit you have to beat 35 to get it
Edit: To all you asshats that are making fun of me and calling me a scrub. How about instead you offer to help. Oh wait I forgot this forum is the exact opposite. Let's call someone a scrub cause they can't beat skolas. Smh

Edit: ok guys thanks for the tips on the cypher. I was able to kick that poor excuse of a boss Ass. We died and had to kill him again but I still got the cypher pop up.
Edit: to everyone generously giving me weapon advice thank you. ;) but I do have VOC(maxed) blackhammer (not) and yes of course I have my three trusty ghorns :) among others. The solar burn is no issue unless I get one shot by skolas that Pisses me off

Everyone continuously crits him keeping him staggering. As soon as bond breaks continue non stop until mine A spawns. If it's on the opposite side or in the middle have one person go cap it while the others continue shooting. If A spawned right next to you, everybody keep shooting, no one grab A at first, instead, all three people keep shooting until he's dead and then continue to cap A as a group. AI despawns. Cap all mines. Finished.

Yeah totally...you should be able to get the elder cipher on 28. In fact as soon as you beat 28 you should get all the exotics at once. Why would bungie make things challenging? Complete crap! They should have different modes for this game like easy medium and hard. I quit!

In past end game content the main gripe from most people is that it's too easy. Bungie tried to make something to frustrate the masses and succeeded. Trust me, if it wasn't as difficult as it is there would be twice as many posts about no challenge.

6 RepliesI agree man I've managed to beat him at least once a week but it's -blam!-ing difficult and despite your skills if you're paired with someone who isn't that good or has shit weapons it's harder... The thing I don't get is why the -blam!- is the 32 harder than the 34 this week? I wish Destiny would get their shit together as far as the level ratings.

On solar burn really isn't hard 3 black hammers and 1 gali he dies before first mine is started. Just beat it couple days ago 2 hunters and a lock no Titan. Just takes a good strat and communication...

Just takes practice. The more you do it, the better you get. Like all the other endgame activities, its meant to be difficult.

4 RepliesYour a not a scrub by far we killed him today with two titans and a hunter they shot ghorns and I kept him at bay with the black hammer it gets intense trust me I know I raged last week on void burn spent 5 hours in there the fact you attempted it is enough for me I'd help you out but I'm guessing you play Xbox? (Most people do not to be looked at as offensive reference)
