What can stand against Thorn?
I'm getting really annoyed by this. Thorn has become equivalent of noob tubes and danger close in MW2. So what can? Because even a Red Death and its regen effects can't counter it fast enough.
EDIT: Figured I'd get a lot of trolls, but I guess I should have specified that the grief is when playing in Trials or IB. I still end up top of my team when playing multiplayer but Trials it varies between the team.

Used Red Death in IB this week. Got killed by a Thorn maybe 10 times during the whole time it took me to get Rank 5. Clearly not as big of an issue as it's made out to be...
