200 vanguard/crucible marks for 1 etheric light
We should be able to buy 1 Etheric Light for 100 Vanguard or Crucible Marks.
This makes sense given that you can't stockpile Marks, and you would have to max them out for 2 weeks just to get 1 Etheric light. That is a lot more time and effort than simply beating PoE 34.
This would give players who aren't interested in PvP, and are unable to find teams to play PoE, a long term way to slowly obtain Etheric Light and upgrade their weapons and armor. Credit goes to MakoSoul.

4 RepliesI wish they would implement not a trading system but a adopt a guardian type thing where more fortunate / experienced players could give un needed gear / material and help those players with activities

It's a reasonable approach. More time and effort invested, overall - but in more manageable chunks for those who neither have nor want to spend 2, 3, 4, 5 (and so on) hours in a row to dedicate to a level 34 / 35 PoE run. It would also have the added benefit of making patrols, public events - and such - relevant again, as the HoW upgrade path has greatly reduced their purpose and general gameplay value.
