I have no problem beating thorn with either Ghileons Demise or Osiris scout rifle The Scholar. Play to your weapons strengths. My many can get the 2 shot in the head in a long distance battle.
Even in close quarters i can win because most can't stay calm and will panic shoot when you turn the heat up on them lol.
I love wrecking the thorn in either game type

With you on that. Scout rifles in general are a good counter based on their range and rate of fire- Mida is pretty good in particular. Get a head shot on them and if they are smart they will try to back off.
