How do i turn off the gore and extra blood?
Ok i still live at home and my mom is getting on my back about the blood and guts flying across the screen so how can i turn down the gore. I have heard from my freinds that it can be done but I go into all of the options and i cannot find it.

HOW YOU TURN OFF THE GORE Step #1: Don't shoot stuff. Step #2: Tell your mom to play The Punisher and see which is the gorier game. Step #3: Don't worry about it.

im 16 and it took me like 3 years to talk my mom in to leting me play M games and she gives me crap when dhe walks in and i'm guning down helpless little grunts

i can shoot all the flood i want they dont scream and their blood is like green. besides she sees killing them as a good thing. i envy the nine year olds who can play any game they want and not get any flak from their parents.

You can only turn off the blood/gore in the PC version.In the (PC version) go to options, video options, and then turn off the "decals" and "particle effects" features.

Sorry to see this happen. But you are right... you live under her roof so what she says goes. I dont plan on moving out when I graduate in May so I will still be living under my dad's rules. The best possible thing you can do it play when she is not around or talk to her about it being a GAME. Good luck.

well the sad truth is that as long as i live in her house and eat her food i have to follow her rules so when she goes into hysterics over the grunt screaming "not agian" or blood flting everywhere I would just love to shout at her shut up you great big wuss but she is my mom and i still live under her roof and so it does work that way. ps i have decided that grunts must be all hindu because they scream "not again" when they die. Have they died before? the only people who have died before are people who get reincarenated ie hindus

Move out. Quit school and get a job. Rent a tiny, one-bedroom, somewhere on the outskirts of the industrial district. Drink too much. Loose your job. And when your mother wonders how you could possibly end up in such a state, tell her it's because she couldn't deal with some animated blood back when you were in highschool.

Then just don't let her see you play it. And she can't *by law* make you stop playing it. It's up to if you want to fight for it or not tho... But i know i would. And did you try playing it in you room with the volume way down?
