Felwinter's Lie Reforging?
Alright so I have had a felwinter's lie since before house of wolves was ever released and I spent a ton of motes of light reforging it to get what I have now, bit to my dismay I never got aggressive ballistics. I have also since then 365'd it. My question is if I reforge it trying to get roughly the same thing perk wise, is that possible to still get hammer forged with shot package and aggressive ballistics? I have heard a lot of different answers for this. My felwinter's lie is on my 34 hunter of you wanted to inspect it. Thanks.

1 ReplyDO NOT REFORGE unless you want to waste that Etheric Light you spent; your gun will be reset to 331 if you reforge.

If you re roll it you will lose your etheric light aswell as the upgrades.

6 RepliesAggressive ballistics is not much better than accurized. I have both options and I chose the latter. With hammer forged and shot package you're maxed out on range anyways

If it's an old one it will consist of the old perks. But you will have to re-level it including using etheric light

5 RepliesIf you get aggressive ballistic, shot package, hammer forage, and luck in the chamber/final round you would have a beast of a weapon. Currently I'm using one with aggressive ballistics, range finder, small bore, and luck in the chamber. I'd rather have shot package and hammer forage but it never wanted it give it to me but this one works just fine.

1 ReplyAs long as you got your felwinter's prior to the current IB, it can be re-forged at the gunsmith for the old perks, such as hammer forged. The roll I would go for is: Agro ballistics Luck in chamber Hammer forged [u]and[/u] Field scout Shot package -Field scout is what makes the old version special. You get double ammo on spawn with it, then you can change to hammer forged, yet keep the extra ammo. No new shotguns can roll field scout.

41 RepliesFirst reforge Felwinter's on my Hunter, took 6 for the one on my Titan. They seem to have an equal range, but I'm not sure as I haven't tested it a whole ton.

1 ReplyIf you reforge, you lose the ascension. You will have to ascend again, if you re-roll. That said, yes you can roll the one you have to get all the old perks.
