Witcher 3: favorite unscripted moments
No cutscenes or anything worth being called a spoiler allowed.
Share your in game unscripted moments from the game. Bugs, glitches, interactions with NPC's and/monsters, etc...
Mine:
- A little village girl in Velen threw a rock at me then ran away giggling.
- I walked onto a boat and got stuck on nothing, Geralt looked like he was falling endlessly, couldn't get out, had to load previous save.
- Saved villager's brother, he thanks me, then calls me "freak" as I walk away.
- Chased a monster, Geralt references "Puss in Boots"
- There's a sword called "Long Claw" reference to Jon Snows sword from Game of Thrones.
- Heard and NPC say "War... War never changes". Fallout reference.

1 ReplyThe puss in boots is scripted. The sword is scripted to say that. ...NPC's have been scripted to say a variety of things.

During a conversation with a group of bandits in which they were trying to toll me to cross the bridge, some drowners started coming up out of the water at the far end. As I'm talking I can see them closing in until they reach my horse, at which time they start attacking him. Completely oblivious to the goings on behind them, the bandits stay engaged in the conversation and every time the camera cuts back to the one I'm talking to, the drowners are closer and closer. Eventually, the conversation ends with me letting the bandits off with a warning and as soon as the game cuts back to gameplay, like 6 of these drowners kill all four bandits instantly, and then run off into the bush like a bunch of naked crackheads just stampeding by me like I wasn't even there. It was so funny I recorded it, I'll put up the link if I can figure out how...

I just like when I find Roach eating grass or drinking from a near by pond. Very cool. I'll probably edit as I think of more haha

My favorite moment in the game so far isn't even really a [i]moment[/i] per se. It's when you have an audience with the emperor and he asks you to search for Ciri. That framed picture of her on the wall is fffking hilarious! Her expression is the best!

Got to the Isle of Mists but got stuck on the boat. Geralt just stood there not moving for a few minutes then shot up in the air and landed on the beach.

I was fighting a group of bandits and rolled. As I rolled an arrow from a bandit missing me and killing a bandit. Was funny

When your running through the big city in novengrad, the game isn't loading as fast as your running and only people's eyes and mouth are loaded. They just float there over the bottom half of the body.

It opened the wrong way and merged with Geralt. Edit: Also after whistling a few times for Roach with no success, 3 of him showed up.
