Husk of the pit needs a drop rate buff
Alright, I know that husk of the pit has a very low chance of dropping and all of that, but this is ridiculous. It's been a week since I was checking to see if it's been removed and I continued farming it since. Still nothing. In total I have farmed this item for an average of 2 hours a day for over two weeks and I still can't manage to get it. It's a shame too, that weapon has one of the most creative mechanics in a weapon I've ever seen in a game. It makes me want it really bad, and it shouldn't be this hard to get, even if it is just bad luck.
I really really hate to be "that guy", but it needs to have a higher drop rate, especially since blades don't just show up all over the place anymore. It's basically the only thing I still really want in the game. I love unusual items and weapons and it's a shame that this one is so hidden away.
so I really just have a proposition or a request. I'd like to have the weapons drop rate increased to 1% or I'd like to request that it be gifted. Simply because I feel I've put more than enough time into getting the husk of the pit, and I have nothing to show for it. I appreciate the read and I am sorry for the bother. Thank you.
EDIT: Thank you to everyone who has replied and have shared their experience. I am currently around the 840s area for blade kills. Not nearly as many as some out there but everyone's voice on the matter should be heard.
To those who keep telling me that necro is bad, I'm aware. Thankfully it seems to be getting a buff, so I'm redoubling my efforts to get it. Good luck everyone. Keep us posted.
EDIT 2: looks like we did it, everyone! Husk of the pit is getting a fix and a drop rate buff sometime within the next month! Thank you to everyone who bumped and posted and thank you to all of those who have been posting elsewhere. We have been heard.

I got it as a lvl 7 on my hunter and the only reason i never dismanteled it was because I thpught the 'artifact gun' looked cool

I deleted my husk thinking i would never get the crux. The crota raid sucks and i thought i would never run it again but i got a crux last night, rumor is you have to have glowhoo equiped to have a chance for the crux and sure enough i got the crux last night. At 70+ kills and still no husk.... done

But if you want it for collections sake you can farm the fist of crota mission on earth and there's always a blade at the very start you can farm over and over I got one in like 39 minutes.

Husk of the Pit: Changes: (Needed) 1. Higher Drop rate 2. Chance of dropping for more than a blade of crota.. (They are nerfing a gun no one has. How do they know it needed to be nerfed? Lol) 3.
