STOP SUPPORTING LAST GEN
I'm so tired of the next gen being held back because of the last gen. Developers just have to let go of last gen there over dead. Next gen would have bigger vaults and more if we weren't held back by last last gen. Who agrees? LETS GET BUNGIE TO DROP LAST GEN!!!!!!

Well you shouldn't have to wait too long. This seems to be the year they are moving on. Battlefront, Arkham Knight, Fallout 4, Black Ops III and probably some others are all current gen.

Yes agreed, last gen should be drop. However i do not see this happening. I'm hoping that Bungie makes the smart decision of dropping last gen completely in Destiny 2. Why support it anyway? Last gen is what is holding us back into having more vault space so please just dump it!!!!

Last gen support for all new games is over. So its already happening destiny 2 will be ps4 and xbox one only. It's just the way industry moves every consol cycle

They aren't going to pull the plug on destiny while it's still played a lot. With a game like fallout 4 being current gen only and game expos like e3 coming up I wouldn't be suprised to see most games follow and I fully expect destiny 2 to be current gen only.

Last gen has connection issues, but I hear next gen (for xbone, not sure bout ps4) are worse

1 ReplyAnd what exactly is last gen holding back? A bigger vault space? A much better and flushed out story? Better boss designs? Weapon balances? Interesting mission objectives? Lol. I highly doubt it, aside from vault space. Then again they probably could've done that better regardless.

There are games on the old gens with far more content, and open areas, Skyrim, Borderlands etc. They are probably contracted to support the old gens for a given time period or DLC period, so no amount of petitions are whining will change that.

Yes Xbox server will shutdown sadly in 2016 but until then why drop such a profitable exploit. Face the facts kid more people play old gen any way. Want proof? Besides from my experience on new gen console/games the snappy movement and zero delay. (The delay of time it takes from pressing a button to said button affecting something in game hence "snappy") only happens on the PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. That's I will not not switch for a while until this is fixed.. I don't think the PS4 has this issue though. But if you don't like reading I'll have this one sentence here for you. You [b]are[/b] the epitome of everything wrong with this community. Do us a favor a remove yourself.

I have yet to hear of any that were so spectacular they were wroth buying a new console for. Not a one. The console isn't holding back the games, the companies are. budgets are. Make a game worth buying and people will buy the system.

How about this: it still gets its DLC and what not but Current Gen just gets more features? Like extra vault space, etc. the games will at the core be the same but current gen will obviously be better in every way.

The contract to make games for both gens is over. Activision already said no more, so we shouldn't see hindered games anymore. Not for last gen reasons anyways.

3 RepliesI honestly don't see the big deal. I still play destiny on ps3 despite the graghics part and inventory speed of it showing. Like most console I say be happy it something to have fun then complain about like so what new gen higher quality. My ass still play Sega gen and commodore 64 and other oldies. And even if I bought the new system the company just gonna make a new console few years later. So like chill out just let most company do let the system run its course until its fully obsolete. Does anybody agree with this I mean make sense.

It's been a year and a half, if people aren't for some reason able to save up by the time the next destiny game comes out they are pretty much screwed. But, before then they definitely should not drop old gen.
