That quitting is a an offense that will lead to a ban. Sure its frowned upon but people would not have to quit if you actually had a real matchmaking system.
And no I did not get banned.

2 Repliesyea. we need some type of organized matchmaking system that doesn't throw the rats into games with the cats. they need to throw the rats in with the rats and the cats with the cats

1 ReplyModification or interruption of Destiny network traffic with intent to disrupt other players’ experiences or to gain advantage in the game There you go. By changing characters mid loading screen you are interrupting your connection to the server to gain an advantage of keeping a clean score card in ToO.
-
Bungie can do whatever they want. If they feel leaving is bannable, then it's bannable
-
Agreed. There should be match making. Let those who have already won play others who have already won. If they are so good they would appreciate the challenge of playing other pros.
-
2 RepliesTrials should be Kvhostov only. No supers, exotics, legendaries, rates or uncommon. Just one white auto rifle. No secondaries or heavy
-
2 RepliesSo cheesing is aloud
-
Ok, but they made it clear from this point on that you will get banned.
-
Edited by Jin: 6/7/2015 3:40:21 PMApparently players never played halo. If you have skill you're successful. If you suck you'll lose. You don't need no proper matchmaking. This is pvp endgame. You're either a raid boss or a meal. Players who quit from fear of a loss shouldn't even be in pvp endgame.
-
Permaban all cheaters!
-
5 RepliesWhile it is technically an exploit, I agree that there are far worse things that people do in PvP on a regular basis that are more deserving of bannination than this.
-
4 RepliesHow about they ban real cheaters? The trials banning thing seems so wishy washy and a stretch. As if they (Bungie) are trying to appear as though they care but really don't care. If they did truly give a shit, all the true cheating (not exploitation) would have been dealt with long before ToO was even a thought. I don't play ToO, nor was I banned for anything.
-
1 ReplyLeaving whilst flying in doesn't count as a loss. This is an exploit, subject to being banned. Beats me why they didn't say so more explicitly, I'm guessing they don't have the means to catch everyone who does it.
-
"Real matchmaking?" You realize they were quitting after inspecting the opponent until they saw a team with gear and/or emblems, clan names or grimoir score that made them comfortable they'd win right. They were ensuring they would only fight what they considered scrubs. A "real matchmaking" would have ensured they would have always gone against a challenging team. Therefore your argument doesn't hold much water.

7 RepliesEdited by Kage Goomba: 6/7/2015 2:54:29 PMYou should learn to read. It also says they can do whatever the hell they want because you accepted the EULA when you started playing the game. PS: This is also under XBL's ToS/CoC - Technically bungie could report you and you'd get your ass perma-banned from XBL (or PSN for that matter) as well. People's ignorance reigns supreme apparently. Good thing Bungie isn't as "cruel" as you claim they are. Check your ego/retard brain at the airlock.
-
5 RepliesWell, quitting is a choice you an make. Frankly, people should not be punished for it. I mean like... We're not slaves. If I wanna back out, then I'll back out. I don't play trials, so it doesn't really affect me anyway. But I think it's unfair to ban.
-
But it doesn't matter because in the weekly update they said they would ban you if you did it. So to continue to do it after that you agreed to be banned
-
No, but it does say that Bungie reserves the right to ban people for whatever reason they feel like or without reason at all. GG.
-
Edited by DoctorHotWings: 6/7/2015 2:37:10 PMCherry picking Trials matches just proves that team/player is weak at pvp. I hope the bans continue and are more aggressive.
-
It's not just a normal quit. It's an exploit. They are switching characters to accomplish this without a loss. A normal quit would give a loss. That is fine. If you go in then go to orbit that's fine. You get a loss so it's fair. The other thing is an exploit
-
If you have to cherry pick your matches, you lose your right to play. It may not say that in the terms and conditions, but everyone was warned that this would happen.
-
You should be able to back out. It should count as a forfeit though.
-
6 RepliesNo one is quitting you moron. They are exploiting a bug that negates a loss is you changed characters as soon as you saw the people you were fighting. That is exploiting a bug, that is cheating, that is just as bad as lag switching.
-
Since they can't do anything about the OP weapons and lag this is what they have to focus on.
-
people are exploiting the game & deserve bans, if ppl cant play legit then they need to go play something easier, maybe viva pinata or something.
-
2 RepliesI thought this quitting stuff in Trials is considered an exploit?
-
You're right, quitting out and taking a loss is not against the tos. However, switching characters to avoid a loss is exploiting a glitch and exploiting said glitch is against tos. So...
