You can build the exact same pc with the exact same parts for like half the price. ....all alien ware gives you is some lights and a really over priced alien sticker. ...

2 RepliesDon't buy one. Go to pcpartpicker. com and start messing with different builds. Don't worry about the cpu too much either.as ling as it has 4 cores you'll be fine. I recommend amd fx6300 if you're on a budget. Put most of your budget into the gpu. Gtx 970 is the sweet spot for nvidia cards, however if you can find a good deal on an amd r9 290 or 290x I would recommend that

You're spending more money on those than the hardware is worth.

Do not! Just spend that money on a legit rig. Or get a battle tested console.

Never ask about a premade gaming rig. You wont get an answer. I7 better. Processor.

2 RepliesSteam Machine help. Don't buy one. Buy HDMI cable. Buy controller. Hook PC up to TV. Hook controller up to PC. Send me the $300+ I just saved you.

build your own pc, Alienware robs you for $

The i7 Chipset has the highest performance, although instead of getting a Steam Machine, you should do as Disembodied Beer suggested.
-
i7, but don't waste your money on Intel if you plan to use it solely for gaming. Build an AMD rig.

4 RepliesIntel i3, i5 or i7 are different families of chipsets for CPUs. if the game supports hyperthreading or multicores, i7 is best. don't get a steam machine. it's a waste of money for blinking lightbulbs. build your own HTPC with windows, download steam for free, and you.can play games in big picture mode. plus it can also do other things besides games.
