Halo on Dexter! haha
Just saw the latest episode of dexter, and he was playing Halo 3 - ON THE PC! hahaha
Made me laugh. The producers added all these sound effects haha
He was playing duels on rats nest and he stuck someone lol
Anyway, just made me laugh

As if I didn't enjoy Dexter enough, him playing Halo 3 is even better ;) Although I had a nice chuckle at the sound effects used in place of in-game. Wonder if they wanted to cover their asses with the RIAA ;) For other Halo (2) occurrences, if any of you have ever watched [b]Grandma's Boy[/b], in the game room several times the guys are playing split-screen on Halo 2. :) For those that want to see the clip of Dexter playing Halo 3 (on a computer lol): [url]http://screencast.com/t/ev7vk5OgE[/url] No audio and the quality does lag (I was using a screencaster to record ;)) [Edited on 12.02.2008 12:08 PM PST]

I watched all the cips of Halo 3 on various shows, and they always change the sound effects - I think that they probably couldn't get a liscence to use them, so they had to create their own... too bad the ones they made were horrible.

There was an episode of Scrubs where Karla and Turk were playing a video game. The controllers were unarguably Xbox 360 controllers. Though the actual game wasn't Halo 3, Karla told turk to get into the "warthog". Now, I only know of about 4 Xbox 360 games, but I thought Halo was the only one with warthogs in it.

Yeah, I watched an episode of Knight Rider recently, and the entire tech crew for K.I.T was playing Territories on Last Resort. It was quite funny because Rider got a Killtastrophe and everyone lost their minds.

In an episode of The Shield the cops bust into a house and there's a bunch of kids playing Halo on a stolen Xbox.

I don't watch TV, but I do remember seeing Jumper with the Halo scene. I thought it was funny because it sounded like he died more than once and kept on going anyways.

It's a worthless contribution. It's not as if they're doing it just to appeal to Halo fans, it's a show about 'nerds'.

Well nice, i guess. I think the point is always to make your research carefully. but please, try to consider that not all halo players lives in USA. just so that there will be no confusion.

I just realised something. The whole premise of the show The Big Bang theory is a group of really sad nerds/geeks doing nerdy/geeky stuff, and yet we're all sitting here complaining about how their portrayal was inaccurate. Go us. Sack the actor of that show and hire us instead.
