Edited by Hooligantuan: 6/5/2015 4:02:16 AMShort Answer: No. Slightly Longer Answer: Sort of ... but No, not really. Weapons of Light affects projectile damage, not Explosive damage. If the rocket actually impacts before Proximity Detonation occurs, there will be a trivial boost to the impact damage, which is the least of the least damage that the Gjallarhorn does. There's a YouTube video (that I'm not bothering to look up) that has some demonstrations on how it doesn't work. You are better off using Blessing of Light to keep your asses safer, but if you're shooting your other weapons after the Gjallarhorn rocket barrage, that is definitely a factor to consider. Because you should be shooting your other damned weapons, too.
-
it gives you a slight Damage boot to the initial impact of the blast. Wolf Pack rounds do not appear to be effected
-
Depends. 0-8%
-
It effects Dinopack Rounds but not the inital rocket
-
It buffs the impact IF PROXIMITY DEATONATION DOSENT GO OFF which dosent happen much and when it does is only about 500 extra damage. So the benefits are fairly minimal compared to BoL or even Armour of light
-
Increases impact only. 8% increase overall
-
I don't think it affects the seekers, but the blast itself.

1 ReplyDoes it really matter? If you use Gjallarhorn you're trash.
Is this how all the trolls say it?
-
1 ReplyIt makes a huge difference whether they argue about initial impact versus wolf pack rounds. All i know is the last 2 weeks when we needed to burn someone especially kaliks and qodron, weapons made it so so much faster and required way less rockets. I understand what the truth is that the impact is only effected, but it makes a huge difference if you're using 3 guys to burn something. Use the weapons trust me.

Oh my Goodness this again. The reason he's not hitting a higher number with weapons of light is because he is too much of a higher level compared to the enemy he is damaging. Thus he is ALWAYS doing the maximum, thus even with weapons of light he can't pass that ceiling. If he were to be even levelled or lower he would see the boost.
-
8% damage buff is enough for me to use it. Plus, 35% for my other weapons is DEFINITELY enough for me to use it. My bubble will last way longer than my 7 Gjallarhorn shots.
-
It doesn't cuz it only affects rockets and gjallarhorn rockets have a secret prox. Detonation. Splash damage isn't affected by wol and neither is wp rounds.
-
I've tested it on numerous targets (mostly strike bosses) fire a rocket before going in bubble and firing one after...
NO change in damage on directly hit rockets OR Wolfpack rounds.
-
No. Lol I thought everyone knew this already
-
3 RepliesWeapons of light effects impact and gjallahorn has the hidden perk of proximity so unless you're directly impaling them with the rocket it doesn't make sense to use it.
-
I don't know.
-
Initial impact, not the wolfpack
-
Well it does but just so little it's not even close to it being noticible. The impact when the rocket hits affects it and the boost is so little it's not even worth the weapons of light.
-
Not if your gally is fully upgraded
-
Only the initial impact, (if you hit them in the face with your rocket)
-
Nope. It's been proved not to
-
Edited by Richbwoii: 6/5/2015 3:48:13 AMNo it doesn't. A lot of people think it does but it doesn't affect the GHorn at all. I haven't tested it out myself but many who tested says it does not and many videos on youtube will prove that.
-
I dont think wepons effects rocket launchers in general
-
Huehuehueheeheueh 69% yes
