Why can't I get gjallarhorn or vex mythoclast?
I try as hard as I can every week, I've tried stratagies, and all those tactics on getting them, but it seems I will never get either of them, do you guys have any ideas?

1 ReplyLets see, maybe its: Only 245 active hours Only 9 VOG completions I mean seriously buddy you need to put in more play time and play the activities that will have a chance to drop you the loot. I hope RNG favors you and you get both asap. To put it in perspective, it took me 1545 active hours to get my one and only Gjallarhorn, my first 20 VOG completions were just ships, shaders and sparrows, I didn't get my first vex until over 50 VOG completions. Again, good luck with RNG.

Sometimes it takes forever.. Until last week, I ran everything the max amount of times to help a buddy get either of the two(we both got Destiny on release). He had to witness my getting my second GHorn while trying to get his first. Then finally, last weeks VOG he picked up his first Vex and Monte Carlo on the same roll.

Can't get the Jellyhorn here. Probably never will. The Vex does drop on Atheon 30. Unlike the Jellyhorn if you keep hitting that sooner or later you'll get one. It took me a long time. Which was funny because I had an early game drop of the Voidfang Vestments and cheesed the Vex for other people. Poor Atheon was so but-hurt over being soloed by a scrub he put my Warlock on the #forever29 list. Well played Vex Timelord.

The reality is the system is broke. I have a friend with half my game time that can't stop getting Gallys. Those with one have at least a 500 percent better chance of getting one. Also I have noticed if you have not received one in your first 200 hours your odds drop dramatically every minute you play.. Best of luck but Bungie stacks the deck one way or another. If they didn't Xur would have sold it by now.

3 RepliesSimple way to get one if you never had it yet. Walk up to Atheon and shoot him with the Vex Mythoclast at point blank and you will get the Vex Mythoclast. [spoiler][i]...a causal loop within the weapon's mechanism, suggesting that the firing process somehow binds space and time into...[/i][/spoiler]

It's rng. There's no strategy to getting it. Kill end game bosses and get the vog chest that drops exotics each week and eventually you'll get it

I'm a beta player and I just got my ghorn three weeks ago. Keep grinding the rgn brother it will drop with time hopefully sooner then later

Gally is pure luck I went from launch until first week of POE without a gally and got 2 in 2 weeks. Vex should be easy to get though

4 RepliesYou just haven't played enough. There are no tactics you just have to do all exotic drop points every week on every character that can and hope they drop. Vex drops in only one spot but gally can drop in any exotic drop area. I got my first at 750 hours and I had all 3 characters long before that so that gave me a 33% boost in chances to get it since you only have 2 characters that can receive exotics. Keep playing, someday it will happen

RNG is completely and utterly random and depends on a great deal of luck. I got my Vex Mythoclast after only beating Atheon on Hard for the 6th time. My Gjallarhorn, on the other hand, I bought from Xur during the 2nd week; the one and only time he had it in stock. Boy am I glad I did...

Lol Keep doing it. Every week.. Dont be dumb. Xûr said to meee. Just keep grinding, Rng can be great at times and a biacth. Took me over 900hrs to get a gjallarhorn but the vex drops nearly 1ce a week. Nearly. Just do nomarl cp x3 And hard x3 both raids 3 x nightfall 3x gorgon normal 3xgorgon hard. Oh and normal deathsinger x3. 18 chances a week or 15 depends on gorgons chest.. But yerah just keep doing it.. All o ised to think about was vex until i got it same with gjallarhorn man.. Gally was my last exzotic i needed. I had every exzotic, for like 6months then finally got a gjallarhorn from septics prime 2 nightfalls ago. So dont loose hope just takes time. ASK EVERY DESTINY PLAYER!!!!! P.s i seen a guy with 100hrs and he got 1. Just lucky bro. Cant change rng. Just like putting in for lotto.. Cant make ur self win hey???? Soooooo Just Keep GRINDING! !!!!! DESTINY = REPETITIVE PLAY DESTINY = GRIND DESTINY = MY DESTINY HAHAHA.
