It would get nerfed because by the majority having the ghorn, there would be more people complaining about its strength (in pvp). Another reason also would be the fact that bossfights would only consist in shooting at the boss with the ghorn, no more strategy or even gameplay-wise dificulties, only the same boring thing (dont take me wrong, playing with the ghorn is NOT boring of course, tho it would be boring if EVERY single bossfight would be done by the same way, every time). So bungie would have 2 options: - buff the lvl of enemies, which couldnt be done as people would need to be able to get to a higher light lvl and it would be a mess for (new) low level players Or - nerf the ghorn so that you still can damage the boss nicely, but still need to play for a longer time with normal guns to already beat him

Eh not really Gjallarhorn isn't that good in pvp compared to other exotic (Truth) and legendary rockets. And it hasn't been modified by Bungie since the release of the game even after they saw alot of videos of people on Youtube beating Atheon in 10 seconds, Taking down Crota in a second, and beating Skolas in 30 seconds. That means Bungie knows how powerful the Gjallarhorn is and the fact that it hasn't been nerfed means it will never get nerfed even if everyone had it. If it doesn't need a nerf it won't get nerfed.
