After a month of having a Gjallarhorn I can still say
It's completely overrated. Just like I said a month ago. Except now I have over 2000 kills with it. Huzzah...your weapon isn't as good as you think it is
Edit: To the whiners in the comments. I never said the weapon sucked. You're putting words in my mouth because you're whiny fanboys. And another thing, I have mine equipped because I was using it. I never said I didn't. Quit your fùcking bitching. It's overrated. Get over it

2 RepliesIt's not overrated, people just make a bigger deal out of it then needs to be. So woopty -blam!-ing doo you kill large groups with Gjallarhorn, have a decent launcher with the righr perks and you can do the same thing.

Sorry, but saying that something is overrated [b]means[/b] that it isn't as good as people believe. Also did you unlock the wolfpack rounds two weeks ago? Just trying to get a zone in on where your coming at. And, did you use it mostly in the Iron Banner/any pvp playlists a lot as opposed to raids/strikes ect.?

1 ReplyGot mine about 4 days ago from a level 28 PoE chest. I'd say it definitely is overrated but makes things easier at least. I'm all for destroying a target or boss faster to get through the bounties and PvE events. The grind is crazy as it is, anything to help alleviate that is welcomed.

Rockets will tend to hit the wall instead of the target instead of proximity detonation that can hit someone behind a wall. But because it deals more damage, a lot of fireteams require you to have it even if it doesn't fit with your loadout, playstyle or class
