The 4 problems that plague the Iron Banner(PvP in general)
1: 70% of the damn games I get put into have already started & the enemy doubles the score of the team I was put on.
2: Shotguns and Hand Cannons are out of control. Seriously they need something done to them.
3: Supers also need banned from the Iron banner. It's suppose to be the ultimate test of skill. Not the ultimate freebie kills.

1. Even tho you might get put into a game losing by a lot, chances are that you have a brand new team capable of overcoming the old winning team even if you still do lose. Still sucks tho 2. And the hand cannon is something we all deal with so its either you join them or stop complaining 3. You're seriously a noob if you're complaining about supers. You use a voidwalker goddammit. The main problem with pvp is the sheer amount of people whining about other players They use this gun too much - nerf it I don't have thorn and they do - nerf it I got killed by a super - nerf it Their strategy was better than mine - cheats There are your 4 biggest problems with pvp From a terrible pvp player that has no issue with others using whatever tactics and guns they like

5 RepliesThis Iron Banner started out great for me and my mate and we were really enjoying it. However, as the IB has gone on it has gotten more and more infuriating, and it is now both no longer fun and also is putting us off playing Destiny. The number one reason for this is shotguns, everyone and their pet dog seems to use them. I can't tell how many times I've unloaded on an enemy only for them to one shot me with a shotgun before I can finish them. It takes zero skill and the vast majority of the time you need only be in range and your guaranteed a kill. Its so frustrating and it's driving us to the edge. We both love this game but the frustration we are experiencing in the IB ain't fun and it's really ruining the game. Shotguns are ruining the PvP elements of the game for us. And for the record, we are both almost certainly average or worse players, but we usually get through with a bit of hard work. But this is breaking us.

1 and 4 are very true but 2 and 3 are just your complaints and supers being banned??? That's dumber than telling a fish it can breathe without being in the water.

I understand problems 1 and 2. I have experienced no major lag whatsoever. Supers are a part of the game. Playing with them and around them DOES take skill. Killing an enemy with golden gun or avoiding an arc blade or fist of havoc and killing the enemy is a test of skill.

For number 1 they should put a button in your config that says whether you are okay with being dropped in a match or not. Because this is really getting on my nerves. I can't rank up if I'm dropped in a match where the other team automatically wins the second I drop in.

Agree with number 1. I hate getting dropped into a match already going. Most of the time it means a loss and a medal to trade in in the next match.

This is somewhat related to the being put into games in progress problem After standard matchmaking I think the game should set the teams fairly like a fireteam of 2 vs a fireteam of 2 or the guy who went 22-4 last game gets put on a team with the guy who went 4-22 etc Maybe even make it a part of the actual matchmaking(prioritized AFTER connections) so fireteams get matched against fireteams(2s get matched against 2s with 8 randoms, a 4 gets matched against a 2 and 2 with 4 randoms, a team of 6 is matched against a team of 3 and 3 etc) I guess in a way this punishes people for playing in a team but on the other hand fair teams usually make more interesting games and people are less likely to leave if they arent losing by 10k points

If you want something done about shotguns and hand cannons...give power back to auto rifles. Or get dirty and use the same load out as those killing you.
