READ THIS AT LEAST, IF YOU'RE GOING TO IGNORE THE EDITS: I've taken this thread as a success. Even though I abandoned my english major for greedy purposes on my 2nd year, I still love creative writing as a hobby and reaffirmed myself and my ability to draw emotion from my readers while putting up a convincing story. If you noticed the many plotholes in my story before reading the edits, I applaud you. If you've read the edits, but still hate me for making such an evil narrative, then you have my apologies. If you still deny that this is fake and refuse to check the proof I've given you, then you're just an idiot ;)
So my friend and I were doing lv35 PoE with this random. The random guy sounded pretty young but at least he wasn't constantly talking. He did ok, and even though he died a lot, but we made it to round 5, right before Skolas.
At this point, my other friend joins the party chat and asks to join in. I told him we were already full and didn't want to kick the random. Then, we finished round 5 and headed back to the airlock.
Now, on non-solar burn Skolas, my friends and I always do an initial "super and special run". Where we just run out and mess around until we fill up on supers and special ammo. This time I didn't say anything about it though, and we all ran out to the left, killed the servitor, and the random started sniping Skolas while my friend and I poked at Skolas with our Words of Crota.
Then, the random asked why we were just using unmaxed handcannons. I was gonna tell him we were gonna wipe anyways after we got supers and ammo, but then I had an idea. I told him that we didn't have any void snipers or heavies, and he was shocked and almost angry at the same time. He raised his voice and asked us why the blam didn't we have void heavies at least, and I told him that we were so used to solar burn and just Gjallarhorning every single boss that we didn't think we would need to keep void weapons, since Ghorn usually works.
Now, he starts pulling out his ghost and says "Wow, you're blaming kidding me." He immediately left the game, but stayed in party chat for about a minute, cussing at us and telling us how we wasted his time and that we sucked for not being able to use anything but Gjallarhorn. Then he left the party chat, we put on our void snipers and heavies, invited my other friend, and proceeded to kill Skolas on our first try.
What do y'all think? Was I a dick for kinda tricking this guy into leaving? Was he a dick for abandoning us right away just because we said we didn't have good void weapons?
EDIT: Since people don't seem to approve of this, I'll admit, this never happened and I made the whole thing up (You can check my games if you want, I haven't played with randoms since early crota and VoG. The only time's I've ever done PoE is through 28 matchmaking or with my clan.) To be honest, I just wanted to make another thread called "you activated my trap card", but couldn't come up with a story to match it.
EDIT 2: In case anyone wonders why I wrote this even, Well I like writing for one, but also because people believe this stuff so easily. Some of you recognize my name from a bunch of trending threads in the past (like the amazing crucible story, the one where I ran into school mates in a random matchmade strike, or the vault of glass one with my dismantling my gear to fool them into a "secret chest"). All of those were completely made up (although people liked those more) and y'all bought them like hot cakes. Did you guys really think someone would leave right away if you tell them you're undergeared? Did you not question how "the random" didn't notice us using good gear for THE ENTIRE FIRST 5 WAVES?
EDIT 3: What I meant in edit 2 was that I write these to entertain and for likes. (obviously this one wasn't taken as well). The post I referenced in edit 2 was back when I made a thread with a story of how I went into a tiger strike with randoms and they ended up being a girl who went to my school, and a neighbor. Completely bullshit, yet it got several hundred likes and everyone believed it. I tried for another post with this thread (and will no doubt make more stories in the future), but it didn't get the same recognition as the last few.

Dick move, muted

1 ReplyAy. In this scenario both of you are at fault but one more than the other. And that is the one who started. The liar. I read the edits btw.
-
3 RepliesYou antagonized him on purpose and you think you were in the right for doing so? lmao yeah right.

1 ReplyEdited by BigDaddyE47: 6/3/2015 10:48:35 PMYou are an asshole, but i'm guessing you know that

2 RepliesSo you're not a dick. Rather, you're a hack. An amateur hack, no less. Not sure that's such an improvement.

Edited by Shining Silver: 6/3/2015 11:01:13 PMJust making this post to thank all of the people who attacked me at first, but took the time to come back apologize, take back their word, or at least read the edits. I believe you guys to be the "real" good people, not only reprimanding me for my false actions, but for coming back to my thread to make things right. As for the people who came back, accepted that this was fake and made to entertain, but still don't approve either my fake attempts at getting likes or just the nature of the story itself, I don't blame you and still give you my thanks for at least taking the time to come back. And to everyone who saw the edits, I hope you don't recognize my name later, because no doubt I will be writing more "stories" in the future, and when I actually I make a good one that people like, I'd hope no one remembers me to call bullshit. :P EDIT: Some people are wondering, if you're gonna make up a story, why make yourself a bad character? Well yesterday I was on these forums and some guy make a thread about a Yugioh reference, something to do with the god cards and Trials of Osiris. So I thought, hey' I need to make a thread called "You just activated my trap card." Therefore, I needed a story that would make sense with someone falling for a trap.

1 ReplyNot very nice man, dick move to do 100% will be avoiding your gamertag
-
2 RepliesYour a dick and I hope karma gets u
-
3 RepliesYup definitely you, don't lie to someone to get them to leave to bring in a friend that's dumb
-
He was the dick first technically saying you were noobs for using only ghorn his fault for leaving lol.
-
Hahaha sounds like something I would have done
-
2 RepliesEdited by EDIT: 6/3/2015 8:54:28 PMYes, that was a very dumb immature thing to do. I hope Karma comes back onto you for this. edit: and the fact that you think it's funny and posted here on the forums to get attention tells a lot about what type of person you are in life.

4 RepliesPeople like u are the reason I'm host :)

4 Repliesyeah youre an asshole. are you on xbl? I'd like to just block you now
-
3 RepliesDon't invite or ask for someone's help if your gonna just abuse them and treat them like dirt. Hope you get your teeth kicked in, sometime soon.

3 RepliesDidn't think people could join on 5th round in PoE???
-
Pretty much a dick move yeah. Although he could've simply stayed and finish the fight anyway. I mean, even with a burn, other weapons are effective as well. You and your friend simply kill adds and the random can tear on Skolas. Not a big deal. You were a dick, he was ignorant.
-
1 ReplySure it didn't happen
-
I approve
-
2 RepliesI got ten bucks that says you booted him when he got pissed. If you lied to him why would you tell us the truth
-
11 RepliesYou were a dick to try to get him to leave, and he was a dick to leave before actually trying to play. So everyone is a dick in this scenario, including me for judging you
-
Man, this is great!!! I can't decide if I'm angry at you for tricking him or if this is just too funny to be butthurt about.
