This has to stop . Bungie not only needs to ban trials of Osiris players who lag and use aim bots but they need to do the same for the crucible including iron banner. The PvP aspect of the game is starting to turn into COD where people easily use aimbots and lag switching . When we abide by the rules and report players for breaking them, then why are you (Bungie) doing anything?

Agree completely with this However most people u see arent lag switching they are lagging due to the nature of the set up, different regions, internet speeds etc.

Edited by DarkTemplar Knt: 6/4/2015 5:46:19 PMBecause they can only ban a profile. The real cheaters will make a new profile in few minutes. The only way to make it somewhat permanent is to get thier consol banned. Microsoft has a good reporting and avoiding system to help with these problems. BTW most of the lag in this game is lack of dedicated servers.

Then who would be left to play?

Agreed, the game needs strong incentive not to cheat, hack, lag switch, whatever. Or you get the same cod, halo, multiplayer crap i left those games for to come to destiny. Pve still the only straight game play.

Yeah they need a perma ban like that kid on COD I think it ended up something like 10 years he won't and others won't be able to play

Agreed

Couldn't agree more. Lot's of players taking advantage of lag. That includes the ones who have a terrible connection to begin with and then those who happen to lag as a result of being in a fire team. It's not my internet either because I am at minimum 28 Mbps download and 5 to 6 Mbps upload. It's already aggravating enough doing PvP without all the lag advantages players have. Then you take people who use an aim bot (typically the player who is standing at snipe distance and instantly has a head shot as you emerge from cover) and then you have a really aggravating situation. I report players who I suspect are cheating and have bad connections regularly and it seems as if nothing gets done about it. If Bungie could at least do something about the lag problem then that would at least be a terrific start. If they could do more to eliminate cheaters then that would be fantastic. I already can't stand PvP, then when you have to deal with laggers and cheaters it makes me want to hang the game up completely. Just no fun. All I want to be done about it is to make things fair for us all because we are all putting time into this and it is supposed to be fun not make you want to break stuff.
