PvE player here, through and through.
Why do people think its hard to get to rank 3?? I've only participated in 2 Iron Banners (this is my third) and both times I reached rank 5 with ease. This is not trials hard. You don't even have to win. Just do the bounties with the buff active.

Totally agree. I absolutely suck at PvP but already one game away from rank 2. With the buffs and bounties rank 5 seems quite attainable. I feel the difference between IB and PoE is that IB gets easier the more you do: better buffs from emblems, shaders etc. PoE starts easy but you know you could have a horrendous last boss.

They are basically handing out level 34. There are 34's with grimiore under 2000, and they are handing grimiore out like Tanja hands her snatch out for tips. Man up, reach rank 3 in IB, buy your E-light and then enjoy the game how you like to. . . Or dont. Just quit flooding the already saturated forum with more bullshit. Please! That is all. Edit: this was for OP and not the Guardian who replied. Had to clear that up, noticed it may be taken as I was saying this to the gentleman I replied to and I was not.

Exactly. I'm a very casual pvp player but iron banner is not hard. At least not trials hard. Besides doing the buff and the bounties does help a lot
