WTF is Qodon doing on a 32 level POE???
My crew is level 33, doing a level 32 POE and Qodon shows up as last boss. WTF. Isn't he supposed to be level 34?? He destroyed us for 30min before we gave up.
Edit: It was more like 1.3 hours, but I was some kind of pissed when I posted this.
Edit: instead of everyone looking for bj's and telling us how awesome they are, can we start sharing ways/tactics to beat this prick?

Have one guy focus ads, another focus boss, and the third focusing the Eye, my teams person responsible for killing the detainment fields was using pocket infinity

6 RepliesEdited by Sammartbm: 6/4/2015 3:26:02 PMBest way to beat him legit. Start by going to the far right as soon as you enter the room. First person: This is your primary damage output on Quodron. This person should be damaging the boss almost 100% of the time. Main weapon: High damage sniper like black hammer or ice breaker Second person: This is the guy who takes out the ads and helps look for the quodrons eye goblin. When they aren't doing this, they are helping with Quodron. This is the person who just helps out with the other two peoples job. Main weapon: This can be pretty debatable, but I'd say a scout rifle like VOC or fang. Third person: This is the guy who takes his time looking for quodrons eye, and keeps track of the one minute timer between detainment bubbles. Once the timer gets to around 40-45 seconds, this person kills the eye and goes back to the far right side. Once the text saying the detainment bubbles are coming comes up, call in the other two near you. The three of you must be close enough so that your detainment bubbles form around each other. Once the bubbles are up, use a high power full auto shotgun to pop all three bubbles. Repeat this process till Quodron is dead. Main weapon: This shotgun is essential to this fight. Found verdict and the fourth hourseman work great. Invective could work, but it's magazine size is a little small. Hope this helped :)

I feel like PoE shifts the 34 down from the previous week to the 32 of next week. I guess you could say it's a way to "stretch" out the PoE experience.

My friend and I, and a squeaker from LFG, did this. We immediately ran left, all the way to the back corner there behind the crates. When Qodron was searching for targets, we made sure we grouped up real close so we could all pop each others bubbles at the same time. The Eye kept on wandering over to us there, we never had to look for it. We just focused on dealing as much damage as possible to Qodron when we weren't popping bubbles and killing the Eye. Good luck

Clear enemies but make Qodrons eye priority and have a Jolders or similar heavy mg on hand to get your self out of the detainment shield. My set up was WoC, Black Hammer, Jolders. IB works as well if you dont have BH. If you start getting overwhelmed by enemies dont worry about the eye just find somewhere safe and wait for the shield and heavy mg that shit. Then continue to clear enemies and when there thinned enough shoot Qodron with BH/IB. Rinse and repeat. I soloed it last night.

Should bring him down before the bubble field gets you. Gotta be quick at reloading and keep your head out the way whilst reloading - dip in and out of the titan weapons bubble

lololololol None of my team had beat him last week None of us knew what to do Yet we still beat him because we aren't that mental Only took an hour or so. As soon as I saw the eye I was like, "What's that?!?!?" So I killed it and got the JAIL BREAKER BUFF. Hmmm..... What does the JAIL BREAKER BUFF SOUND LIKE IT DOES.... Well sure enough when qodron detained us, I was able to kill our shields. We kept doing that until he was dead. Oh and guess what I got from the chest!!! Another FVCKING dream wanker

Found Verdict/any FullAuto shotty. You can kill the bubble without jail breaker if you mess up and miss the eye, so the team doesn't wipe. Just go back left and have 1 guy with a sniper, 2 with shottys. Have the guy with the sniper FULL TIME putting damage on Qodron, even if they run out of sniper ammo and have to use primary. The 2 shotty players should focus mainly on adds, killing any that get close to you. It is their job to kill Qodrons eye. They should shoot its head so that it goes mental and runs at you, then shotgun it to get jailbreaker. Whenever they have free time from adds they should rocket the boss. Titans should run striker as in an emergency they can slam the bubbles (with aftermath on). Hunters should use Gunslinger to shoot majors with Golden gun to generate orbs. If the other players get 2 axis hobgoblins to low health, the hunter can GG them both for 8 orbs. Warlocks should use Sunsinger as if the whole team is killed by detain bubbles, they can self res to be a safety net.

My team of 33's just goes to the left side of his platform in the corner by all those containers. Stay tight to the containers. One guys focuses on being the Jailbreaker, one watches for any enemies coming around the corners, and I just Ice Breaker or Black Hammer him. Pretty easy for the most part.

1 ReplyWe did it pretty quickly. Titan with weapons of light throws up a bubble right as soon as you walk in the door. Everyone needs 365 tracking rocket launchers, full of rockets with a synth ready. Just unload on him immediately. He's down in less than a minute before the containment bubbles even happen.

It all changes every week. First week we had some cabal dickhead. Last week we had the fireprince dickhead. Next week I assume we will have the servitor from the 34

Best strategy is have a weapons and blessing bubbles then have everyone with max ghallys then blast him dead took us 30 seconds

3 RepliesYeah, it's disproportionate for level 32. They need to adjust a lot of things about that fight. The eye of Quodron is a pain to find. Sometimes he shows up right on your face, other times he stays hidden like an asshole. Timing the kill so your jailbreaker buff doesn't run out too early? Icing on the poop cake.

5 RepliesIt's easy and he has just been nerfed too! use an ice breaker and pick away at the boss when you can.

Stick together to the right of the level, get your strongest player to kill the eye when it spawns just before the prison field takes effect to get the most time out of the buff, hit the boss and repeat. It's essential to stick together, the prison fields cross and you can pop a shield with blessing of light to give you more time.
