WTF is Qodon doing on a 32 level POE???
My crew is level 33, doing a level 32 POE and Qodon shows up as last boss. WTF. Isn't he supposed to be level 34?? He destroyed us for 30min before we gave up.
Edit: It was more like 1.3 hours, but I was some kind of pissed when I posted this.
Edit: instead of everyone looking for bj's and telling us how awesome they are, can we start sharing ways/tactics to beat this prick?

2 RepliesGo far left. Designate one person to shoot adds and find and kill the eye, the other 2 shoot the boss. Group up when you get the shields, rinse and repeat.

Walk through the door and go all the way left so you are close to the door that the eye comes through. Have one person on eye duty/adds. Other two damage on qodron.

Kill the eye guy. He gives you shield break so you can break shields easily. Keep one guy one shield duty and the others DPS. Switch if needed and stay together. If you are a team of 34s with ghorn just shoot ghorn and don't focus on anything else. You don't need weapons of light. Hell still die before shields pop up.

2 RepliesWoL as soon as you walk in and the Gallys. Easy! PoE rotates. It's like a peg board. Last weeks 35 minus Skolas became this weeks 34. Last weeks 34 became this weeks 32 and last weeks 32 became this weeks 28. It always does this. At least....this is what Bungie said.

Go right as soon as you go in, and you need to kill a goblin called "quodrons eye" in a certain amount if time. Once the eye is dead, unload gally or whatever till it says he searches for targets and kill the eye again and repeat

Most people like to camp at left, but I like the right strat better. Soloed it yesterday, and here's what you do: Go right and camp amongst the rubble against the wall. The ads will move around and force you to move between different piles of rubble to avoid death, but that's just the way it is. [b]Set rolls for your team.[/b] Have one guy take care of ads, another also killing ads but mainly focused on looking for and killing the Eye of Qodron. The last guy should be solely focused on damaging Qodron. If multiple people in your team have Gally, have them fire off a rocket here and there just to help out. When it says Qodron is searching for targets, everyone needs to gather up behind cover and just wait for the detainment shields to hit. Everyone should shoot the shields for help, but the guy with Jailbreak will obviously free everyone. Shields should be gone quick, and you can all go back to doing your thing. Just repeat all that til he's dead. This probably won't go perfectly smoothly, and people will die periodically. Killing Qodron is the lowest priority. As a team, the most important thing is to make sure that somebody has jailbreak for when the detainment shields come up, and second-most important is to kill as many ads as possible. So if someone dies, just make sure that everyone focuses on fending off ads and killing the Eye until you can revive your third. Then you can get back to Qodron. Hope this helps! Lol ... Go left shoot at him.. All keep close., keep an eye out for a shiny add.. One of u kill him and u get jail breaker,, stay close together shoot shield .. Finish him it's really not that hard mate

Level 34 prison boss for the last week becomes the 32 prison boss this week. Next week 32 will be the boss for 34 this week.

4 RepliesYeah buddy i feel your pain. For starters my team found the left side to be a little more defensible but some will say far right, i honestly think its your choice so try both. Get the person that is going to be the jailbreaker to equip a heavy machine gun for the bubbles and only the bubbles (you should be out in a few seconds if you stand close enough while the field goes up), then i would recommend Ice Breaker and whatever primary they want. This person should not dps the boss, their roll is to thin out the mobs that spawn in and kill the eye (Ice breaker is for ammo replenishment and killing the eye when it wants to chill up with Qodron instead of coming down to the ground like a dick), and the position needs to be called out whenever people see him so the jailbreaker can get a fix on it. One guardian should help thin out the mobs and then when there is a bit of breathing room dps Qodron. The other either does the same thing if you find you are being over run to quickly or they can start laying in to Qodron right away, but you need to thin out the mobs to make your life more manageable. Its a hectic fight for sure, my team could not get it done at 34 but 32 we did. If you start having trouble with the buff cooling off then just set a timer, one guy on my fireteam would call out every 45 seconds that bubbles were coming just so we didn't lose track of time. Literally any shotgun can break out of the detainment without jailbreak perk on. Just have full mag and use them all and fire rockets at him. Easy as pie

2 RepliesIf it keeps going in the rotation. Assuming that there are only 4 bosses. Next week the big servator that regens health will be the 32 and the 34 will be rockets mcdickface on steroids with different shield types.

We had two black hammers on the boss and a shotgun guy to take out his eye and the containment shields.

Edited by rinoas_angelo: 6/4/2015 5:13:31 PMThey actually nerfed the fight a bit. I used Swordbreaker and just broke out of the detainment shield without Jailbreaker buff. We just ran to the left of the arena, dumped 3x 365 Gjallarhorns into him until he died, we only got detained three times during the fight, sometimes one or two of us would go down but overall very easy with a Titan dropping blessing of light.

Everyone should have launchers equipped. Burn him and run to the right.

The 34 drops to 32 weekly i have noticed.

Make sure you have at least a Titan defender. One guy should concentrate on adds while the others snipe him

We did the left side strat with a hunter, Titan and one warlock. Set up for bubble generation and I sniped while one focused on the shiny dude/ads and the other person ads I just used Gally when I could and most of the damage was from black hammer. We grouped up when the detaining bubbles come to make it easy to get out

Cause if you have 3 Gjallarhorns and 3 34s you can sit in mid and kill him in like 25 seconds. He's not hard, he wasn't hard on 34 PoE. Stop bitching

Move to the right corner of the map and have a defender Titan or 2 for blessings/weapons of light with gift if the void perk active (keep those orbs spawning everyone!) dedicate one player to kill quodrons eye, whenever it says he's locating targets, for jail breaker buff. The other two should be focusing nearly all heavy and special fire at quodron (your strongest snipers preferred for special slot). Shouldn't take more than 10-15 minutes at max.

It's changes dipshit, remember when Uroxx was on 34, but got to 32 when Qodon was 34. No there's a new boss and Qodon is now 32.

it shouldn't be tough at all, especially as 33 & that the jailbreaker buff has been doubled. Qodron's Eye will always come wandering towards you. as long as you don't kill them too fast you will easily always have jailbreaker when Qodron searches for targets. you need to have communication, & you need to have at LEAST one person dedicated to full time Add duty & Jailbreaker duty. Whoever that player is, should have a shotgun out w. Some kind of armor to increase the reserve ammo for it. If for whatever ridiculous reason you're having trouble w. The Eye coming to you, just pop it's head off. It'll sporadically run straight towards you trying to kill you, just like any Vex does without their head. that's it. he searched every 55 seconds. Jailbreaker lasts 30 seconds. Stay close together & when he searches bunch up right next to each other & you shoot it down. it really isn't hard at all. I think right corner is the best place to do it. The jailbreaker should be on Add & Eye control strictly. the other two players should be focusing on boss DPS. so gjallarhorn/ice breakers. Make Axis Hobs your main priority & you'll be good. it's really not a hard fight whatsoever. Especially on 32. I found it easy as shit on 34. With two players who were complete trash & no ascended weapons ..... no Gjallarhorns, no icebreaker. it was really pathetic actually. & we did it second try.
