Why do people use armor of light instead of blessing
I always thought that that blessing was armor outside of bubble. So why do peeps use armor instead

Armor of light is the best, I run double shotguns. Then just bubble on top of a ton of enemies and kill them all.

Armor of light is when you feel like using your fists like a badass motherfukka and starting a battle royal in that son-of-a-biitch!!!!!! Blessing of light it when you need a little more armor strategically.

Blessing is used offensively, armour is used defensively. I.e if you need to buff your fireteam before running into a contested area or an area full of enemies on a nightfall raid etc (running to ogre room on crota hard) you use blessing. If you need to bubble to lock down a control point or get a clutch revive when someone's surrounded by enemies you use armour especially if lightswitch is on, enemies will melee into the bubble and still get one hit off before they're blinded

Think about it...You have to run outside of the bubble to get blessing in strafe inside the bubble to get armor of light. I lose my barrier inside the bubble meleeing someone..But force barrier pops. So it's back to back shields. I've wiped out four players and even a fireteam with AoL trust me. Saint 14 with it. No matter what idiots will always run inside you bubble

In PvP, armor will allow you to tank shotgun blasts. If you have Saint 14 and armor anyone trying to kill you will fail, unless they super or you blow

Depends on the situation. But with blessing you have to go in and back out to gain your shield back, so that can really be a problem in Crucible or against a pack of thrall, etc.

Armor of Light seemed to be a bit better against the floor burn de-buff in PoE last week, though either one seemed to work. I would agree that it is the least beneficial option of the three.

2 RepliesIt's fun to use in the middle of a swarm of low level enemies. Especially if you have the sub class node where you generate an orb when you melee kill something while your melee ability is active. Perfect for the first part of the crota's end raid.

2 RepliesArmour of light disappears when you leave the Bubble. It's good I'm PvP though, since a lot of people try to come in the bubble to try and kill you, but can't since you constantly get armour of light.

If a bunch of guys are charging and meleeing you, then it's better to use armor.

Cause armor is a lot stronger, blessing is basically an overshield. Armor makes you take less damage, blessing gives you a bit more health. Which is useful at times, particularly crota.
