I play PvP when needed. Rarely do it since I play destiny to lay back and not to play serious

Agreed, I play the game as a whole. If I get a shooter of ANY kind I play the multiplayer and the campaign. If you don't, you're not getting the most of it.

I do pvp every now and then. I just dont find destiny pvp enjoyable unless running with friends. I feel like destiny pvp is having an identity crisis. It is trying to be like cod instead of being a slower more team focused gameplay

def not CoD. Cod is a lot faster, my girlfriend loves cod and cant play Destiny's pvp because its "to slow" for her

It is slower but not by much. That is why I said it was trying to be like cod and it makes it feel wrong.

Its not so much PvP vs PvE, its just pointing out that Bungie should give the PvE players a chance to buy etheric light also.

It isn't really buying it, you can get 1 at rank 3 and 1 at rank 5. It is similar to how PoE you can get 1 from completing 34 and 1 from completing 35. If anything it is worse since you have to pay glimmer. Also it isn't difficult to complete IB since they have made it so much quicker with buff and medallions and quicker to rank up alts if your main is higher. It isn't something that is every week, IB is a special event. They used to have queens events but they stopped because they couldn't find a good way to make it fun and balance the rewards. If you want more etheric light play everything problem solved. I have more etheric light than I have weapons now and I've only played 2 weeks! I remember when it took months to try to get to max level and even then didn't have the right stats.
