I had a read down the page, and the OP is just bashing bungie at every opportunity. The HUD isn't the problem here, your TV is. What you are asking bungie to do, is to provide a fix for your TV not for their game. That requires courteous feedback toward Bungie if you hope for them to release a fix for your TV.
Fact is, you are in a minuscule minority. One, you're playing on a plasma, and two you're either deciding not to use your plasma's tools to scrub or prevent image retention, or your plasma doesn't have any features like that.
Most TVs these days have no problem at all, and most gamers are knowledgable enough not to play games on a TV which is at risk of image burn.
I would suggest you write a formal and respectful message to Deej/Bungie to ask if they have any plans to work on HUD options. Bashing them on forums is not the way to go about things.

Have you read this entire thread? If not you really can't comment. This is not a plasma issue. It's a destiny only issue as other games do not leave permanent image retention that can't be wiped in less then 15 minutes or by doing something else. It was brought up at BETA and ignored. And bungie does not have to make a fix for plasma owners. But at least say you will or won't so that the people whose tvs get damaged by destiny can either keep a look out for the patch or sell the game while it has some value. Every day they don't comment they are costing us time and money.

I would work on the assumption that they aren't looking in to it. Unfortunately consumers are always the losers, I wish they did respond to this issue for your sake so you could at least know where you're at.

Thanks man.
