I guess it depends on where you're using it. I don't play crucible much, but the times I have, I see lots of people using one and doing well. I stay mostly in pve. And I don't like it much for pve. While it does have a healing perk, it shoots painfully show. I've gotten accustomed to much faster shooting pulse rifles where you can spam the trigger and it's almost like full auto. Bottom line for me, it's just too slow.
